I'd give it 6 stars if I could! The kids (10 and 8) had a phenomenal time... There was so much for them to do -- the deer forest (walk around the deer, and have them eat from your hand!), camel rides, zipline, the long...More

It's pretty big, so we brought stroller for my 4 and 6 year old. Animals look very well kept here, and attractions are just right for them: They enjoyed the maze, feeding the birds, riding the camel and the zip line to tour all above...More

We most recently visited this zoo in July 2018, but we have visited many times over the last decade. This is a nice zoo in a rural setting with a pretty large, diverse display of animals. The deer forest is a "must do" activity -...More

It is a bit hard to find and ticket prices are high but there are many interesting animals. There are about 6 or 7 giraffes and this is important for socialization because they are herd animals. Wear comfortable shoes because there are steep hills.

I recently took my daughter for a weekend day to visit Southwick's Zoo. We've been to the Roger Williams and Franklin Park zoos and found although this is not an AZA Member zoo, we still found it to be a top quality and well run...More

This is a very nice zoo, a little out of the way, curvy roads but worth the trip. The layout was good, a little hilly. Good c collection of animals.

My husband and I are what we would title as "zoo connoisseurs". :) We have visited MANY zoos and can honestly say that this zoo is amazing. There is so much to see, do, taste, touch, and enjoy. We had a magical day and we're...More

Very big zoo, that does not have any water fountains or misters to keep their patrons cool on a hot day. We bought tickets to ride the skytrain and was told I could ride with my son only to be told he was to small...More

This zoo is pretty big with a wide variety of animals. All of the areas were well kept without to much stink. We went on a day kids were in school so the crowd was small. There was lots of walking involved, but as expected....More

I would say 3 to 4 hours depending on how many activities you add to your visit. We love to spend time in the deer forest, and we also enjoy adding the train ride and sky ride to our visit.
