We had a great time at this zoo. The sky ride was great and the train ride through the woods with the elks was awesome. I think our favorite part was feeding the deer. It was 80 something degrees and the zoo did not smell either. They really take care of the animals. Great place to take your family.

This Zoo use to be the zoo you didn't want to go to..now, with so much improvement, we've been several times with the granddaughters. The animals are well taken care of, which is nice to see so well worth the money you pay to enter. Rides and Food available as well as shows.

I brought my granddaughter here and was amazed at the growth and changes that had taken place. The open land designated for petting was wonderful. Clean, treed for shade ans expansive.

Been to Southwicks Zoo many times, probably the best overall zoo in New England. Most of the animal habitats are roomy and provide the animals with stimulation. Everything is laid out fairly well in a nicely wooded and shady location. $25 adult admission ($2 AAA discount) is a little steep - considering there is an extra $6 per person charge... More

It is a family zoo and the animals are treated like Family. I had my daughters birthday party . It was the best . There is a train and a petting zoo and you can feed the deer. The animals are well taken care of and the staff is helpful .

Took my 13 and 15 year old daughters to this zoo for the day. We packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed taking pictures in the small petting zoo area and also the deer forest where LOTS of deer came up to us and ate out of our hands! The zoo was being renovated in parts and is really geared for... More

Not as big as the major zoos, but pretty wide open, well kept and fun. Thought it is in Southwick, MA, about 20 minutes from home. Good thing I looked up directions - it's about half a state east of Southwick, but well worth the 2+ hour drive. The zoo has a nice collection of animals to see and provides... More

Went there midweek...about a 2 hour drive. Admission was reasonably priced. Most of the park is under the trees so it was not too hot for a summer day. Lunch was reasonably priced and tasty. Staff was courteous and always around to help. The animals were terrific to get so close to and the deer area was huge and well... More

Totally worth the hour and 45 min drive. Way better zoo than stone zoo. Really easy to get too. Lots of animals and plenty of places to eat and quite a few rides if you wanna do rides.
