This is a great place to enjoy the seashore, with lots of parking and easy beach access. (Particularly good right now if you own a dog, since the seasonal dog ban was lifted October 1).

On a beautiful part of the Cape. Dark sand. Not the easiest access into water for those with arthritis or an injury ( try Old Silver for that). But good facilities for changing. Loved the park setting.

Well-maintained beach that goes on and on. The only drawback is that a resident sticker's required in season. Aside from the beach, there's a long walking trail that takes you along scenic inlets. A real treasure.

Honestly, $20 parking to go to the beach for the day? Donโ€™t get me wrong, nice beach, but very narrow, not overly crowded, but itโ€™s just a beach. Nothing overly special.

My wife and I recently took the Sunday newspaper and chairs to South Cape Beach for a visit. It's a gorgeous beach on the south side of Mashpee.

No, not on the off season. I believe the off season begins after Labor Day for beaches.
