Beautiful views

Was so snowy and we stopped because of the amazing views. The place looked like a post card. We stayed a few minutes to take some pictures.

Love visiting the Wayside Country Store. It's a great place to poke around, you never know what you will find. We always bring our out of state family and friends here to buy their souvenirs.

We typically stop by here any time we go to the restaurant next door (Stephen Anthony's). This is a great place to kill some time. The country store has all the sort of things you'd expect (if you've ever been to a Cracker Barrel, it's similar to that). Attached to the country store is a great candy shop. It's a... More

Store is kept just as I can remember it from 45 years ago. Great local crafts & gifts. I found homemade peanut butter dog biscuits to bring home.

It is hard to find a good selection of candy in one place. This place has so much to offer! And their little store next to the candy is great! The upstairs is also a museum and the newspaper clippings and things from the past are really cool. They sell little porcelain figures upstairs and they are cute. I plan... More

Love this place. Old fashioned country store experience including the penny candy (no, of course it is NOT a penny anymore). The floors creek, it smells of history, and the goods are high quality.

I came here as a young child and though I moved back to the area 4.5 yrs ago and have driven past it a number of times I had not stopped. My sister came to spend time with me after not seeing each other in a year. We decided to come here. As soon as I walked in I flashed... More

Relive your childhood at the candy store. They have every kind of candy from razzles to small things I remember as a child. A must visit.

My husband and I stopped at the Wayside Country Store recently and found it to be great spot to find unusual country style gifts. The store had a very diverse variety of country goods, home goods, cooking supplies, baking items, antique etc. It is a store sure to please anyone. Attached to the country store is a candy store that... More

This old fashioned store is a great place to go and poke around in. They have all sorts of nick knacks, candles, t shirts, books, puzzles and more. It is defiantly has a more local feel and so people from the city or out of state may find it a bit odd. However, I find it to be a wonderful... More
