My husband and son bought me Stowaway Sweets for Valentine's Day. They hand-picked all dark chocolates - my favorite - and these were better than any from Belgium that I've had (and we have relatives in Brussels who bring them to us often)! Fabulous! I can see why the White House chooses Stowaway Sweets - they are incredible.

Delicious treats, beautiful setting (koi pond garden) & kind service make this a "must" stop in Marblehead. My husband just gave me a box with their signature (& unrivaled) meltaways, and raspberry and orange dark chocolate creams for Valentines Day. Nothing could be sweeter...or more appreciated. Unfortunately I was unable to stow any away for later. Too yummy~

This place hasn't been in business for all these years because the chocolate does not make your mouth tingle. Give yourself a treat by stopping and treating yourself to a Marblehead tradition

We've been going here for years, usually to purchase gifts for those we love. Their chocolate is not only of excellent quality, but the varieties of vtreations with it is extensive.

I have been a customer of this candy store for more than 40 years. Everything is delicious and freshly made on site. Whether you are a milk chocolate or dark chocolate fan, their candies cannot be beaten. The candy is traditional and uncomplicated without any trendy ingredients. Even though the company has passed hands, the recipes remain the same and... More

This Marblehead Icon has simply the best chocolates anywhere. I have been visiting Stowaway since the early 80s and always marvel how they can offer chocolate like no one else. The meltaways are unique as are the turtles. But we try new ones on every visit and they are really really good. Marblehead is worth the short drive from Boston... More

Amazing chocolates! Every year my wife gets me Stowaway melt-a-ways on our wedding anniversary, as we used these as part of our wedding party favors. And every year I am excited to get them!
