While I think some of the country / primitive decor was cute, I found it hard to feel comfortable around the people that worked here. Zero customer service skills. Trying to converse with the people that work here is like talking to a wall. Rude and not welcoming.

Nostalgic walk through after we moved back to Mansfield. Candy and snacks out front. Then candle, lamp, kids toy section. Sign and wood stove hallway, then furniture galore, last is the kitchen items section. Overall a very pleasant walk through. I got a $1 pickle just like I always got when I came here as a kid.

I have been going the the old country store for decades. Let's put it this way. I have been going there since when penny candy was a penny. They still have the penny candy, great fudge, and their great pickles in a barrel. They have a lot of kitchen gadgets, furniture, and things for every area of the house. Kids... More

My family and I have visited the Old Country Store many times over the years. It has a wonderful candy section in front with a large section of penny candy, a fudge and chocolate counter, and fresh coffee beans. Everyone's favorite, though, is the barrel of garlic pickles by the register. The rear of the store (which extends forever!) has... More

This place sits in West Mansfield about 2 miles down the road from the old Great Woods (now Xfinity Center). It is as close to the Vermont Country Store as your going to get in this area. It is not as cramped and packed as the VT Country Store, however the place is quite large inside and has that old... More

Whether you want old fashioned penny candy, hard to find baking mixes or collectibles, this is the place to go. Player pianos entertain the kids, fine country style furnishings and hard to find accessories keep adults happy exploring all the nooks and crannies. Always something interesting at Mansfield Old Country Store.

More interesting than regular Old Country Store's, because of the way it winds around. Front entrance has penny candies, unique snack treats, through the right hallway is candles, small toys, lampshades, and other small household items. Through the next hallway is woodstoves, metallic antique looking signs, next is piano's, tables, armoires, and kitchen decorations. Upstairs is beds, rocking chairs, and... More

What an amazing place! Lovely warm welcome from the staff who were intrigued to hear we were visiting from the UK. Inside is like an aladdin's cave. The place meanders through and you eventually end up getting lost! Never seen so many things in one place. Definitely worth a visit. Hope to visit again soon!

If you haven't been to The Mansfield Country Store, you should make it a priority to go. They sell almost anything, from furniture, rugs, lamps, baskets, bird-feeders and even candy and fudge. They even have some old-fashioned player pianos. It's a fun place to walk around and check everything out.
