We weren't ready to commit to a 2-night stay as we had other plans and so we purchased the day pass, which is good from 6AM to 10PM. If you want to do any of the outdoor activities, make sure to reserve ahead of time as they were all filled when we got there. We started early with the silent... More

Kripalu setting is gorgeous, and evokes a desire to soak in every moment. Spent one week there with a best friend, did Vinyasa intensive with Natasha R and re calibrated ourselves. She is absolutley wonderful in every aspect: we learned a lot about postures, breathing, and ourselves. Also Enjoyed a long weekend there with an other best friend, when we... More

This was my first time at Kripalu and I was amazed how many repeat visitors they have. I did the R&R retreat and very much enjoyed the mix of activities - it's up to you to figure out how much or how little you want to do. The food is very good, especially for me since I'm a vegetarian. There... More

We were told about this place and went to see the grounds. We were greeted by registration staff and given a visitor's pass. We wandered around the beautiful grounds for about an hour (then it rained) and it was peaceful and beautiful. I would like to go back for a stay and to be able to hike the trails. It's... More

What I like about Kripalu is the food, the people, and the Spartan Ashram vibe. They bring inner city kids there for free with their scholarship program. Poor folks can sleep in a dorm for around $88 a night, while wealthy people can sleep in the Annex for $350 a night. This might seem like a lot, but when you... More

I was going through a time in my life when I really needed some "me" time. I was looking online for a yoga retreat, and found one within driving distance of my home. I was excited that I could book this trip and not have the additional cost of purchasing a plane ticket. It was expensive, but I did opt... More

I've been to Kripalu 6 or 7 times. Maybe more. It's not cheap, but I have had some incredible experiences there. They have top notch teachers. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely view of the Berkshires and a lake. The rooms are like dorm rooms. They are tiny to share, so I usually get my own. I opt for... More

If you like yoga and are flexible in the type of yoga you prefer, this is a great spot. The accommodations are fair and the place looks a bit like a hospital but they are clean and the food is pretty good. If you prefer alignment based yoga (Iyengar), this might not be the place for you unless there is... More

If you are into Yoga and/or Meditation this is THE destination. Known throughout the world as a Yoga center. the location and views are stunning. Beautiful landscaped walking trail and breathtaking view from the summit. Kripalu offers lodging, food, and classes at all levels of yoga practice. This is serious business for the initiated , but offers a lovely casual... More

Kripalu is a wonderful experience. The experience is only enhanced by bringing your own pillow (they must sell a lot of massages with those pillows) and instant coffee just in case you get up before the cafe store opens. The grounds are beautiful and the food is delicious. This is not a hotel, but a retreat. Like a year-round adult... More
