We visited Pleasant Valley Sanctuary twice during the summer of 2018 (July and August) and enjoyed it both times. The staff were very helpful and recommended specific trails where they said we might see beaver. And see them we did, during our first visit the...More

I wanted to see beavers. Unfortunately they didn't cooperate, but we did see a lodge, ponds, some great views, and had just a real nice time on interesting trails.

We visited on a frigid day in late December. We were bundled up and took our time to walk the trails. What a great time we had. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Will be visiting again in the spring to hike the upper trails.

We spent a couple of hours walking the various trails through the woods on a balmy, October afternoon. Sadly the foliage was not colourful this year but it was still pleasant strolling along, listening to the various birds and spotting chipmunks as they darted about.

Luckily we got there early and during a weekday so the trails were quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the various areas: woods along a stream, walking along a pond.
