Since 1999 The Wit Gallery has been a showcase for joyful,musical, witty and thoughtful art in all media. An acronym for "Wonders In Time" The Wit Gallery focuses on art that brings a feeling of warmth and hospitality which transcends time. The Wit Gallery strives to connect each individual collector to the art which will bring him/her pleasure for years to come.

We collect pottery and other crafts and we were very impressed with the quality of WIT's art. My wife bought a beautiful necklace.

We have visited this gallery in the past and have always found it to have very interesting items. They have some very nice glass piece, among other things and we love the colorful kinetic sculptures, which are also installed at Canyon Ranch. One would be very nice in our back yard.

Unique and interesting art pieces. Enjoyed the salesperson who was quite helpful. My wife bought a piece in the shape of the infinity sign that has been admired by friends when they saw it.

During a week-long vacation in the Berkshires we decided to do some sightseeing and shopping around the town of Lenox. We visited several of the art galleries; clothing, gift and toy shops around the town.
While walking down Church Street we were drawn to a series of large, colorful kinetic art pieces moving in the wind on the side walk in front of the Witt Gallery art shop. They were very plain, geometric shapes but made an attractive display. Once inside we got to see many more attractive, modern art pieces and unique designs. I really liked the white and gold metallic flame art work they had on display.
We were very pleased with our shopping and sightseeing experience in Lenox. So many great art galleries to visit. A detailed parking map for Lenox can be found on the Town of Lenox WEB site. We parked behind the town hall (6 Walker Street) which can be accessed from Old Stockbridge street. This lot shares parking with the town hall staff. There is also a public restroom inside the town hall and police directing traffic and pedestrians to cross the street in front of the town hall.

As part of our annual visit to Tanglewood we love to spend some time visiting this lovely gallery. Staff are helpful and non-bothersome, and the artworks are always changing and spectacular, particularly the glassworks.

Met The curator, Karen who was informative and gave me a lead to sell some pieces. This museum is full of whimsey, great art with a variety of forms, unusual modern mixed media, sculptures, jewelry- copper/brass. Go there- you will be thrilled!

Beautiful sculpture, glass and multimedia pieces. Very talented artists. Bright, airy space. Most everything is in the $-thousands range but it’s fun to daydream.
