Tanglewood has been the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra for many years, and their experience in creating a welcoming atmosphere shows. The spacious grounds, the many shady nooks and gardens, the first-class roster of guest musicians - Tanglewood is the place to experience...More

My review would have been 5/5 had it not been for the tour of the property. The group was too large and the docent spoke too low. They need to equip these guides with microphones so that people will be able to comprehend what they...More

The Mount offers a free jazz concert on the terrace, along with delicious light fare on Friday evenings during the summer. A perfect setting for enjoying the beautiful house and grounds.

This is the ultimate venue to enjoy a summer weekend listening to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. We usually purchase lawn tickets and bring a picnic but there are numerous food options available.
