Beautiful building, great collection

This is a beautiful building - just being in it is a pleasure. And the book collection is quite extensive for such a small town.

This is a wonderful library in a historic building. The building is surrounded by small well tended garden. Their reading rooms are comfortable, cozy and relaxing, good places place to peruse the daily daily newspapers and magazines available. The staff of the library is helpful and pleasant. This is such beautiful old library. Lot of places to sit and relax and enjoy a good book. And on a nice day the reading park outside is a lovely place to enjoy your book.

This was well promoted throughout downtown with rack cards, so the 4 of us decided to check it out. The building was beautiful and historical framed photos with detailed descriptions were interesting to say the least... The show was a local artists show, it was well displayed in a separate room and had an attendant to warmly greet us. This... More

Wonderful old library with lots of history of the area and a book sale as well. Also right in the library is the half price ticket desk and we got tickets to the Barrington Stage Company play for that night.

We stopped in and saw a terrific art exhibit in the adjunct building. The library also offers 1/2 price tickets to local attractions and performances.

A beautiful small-town New England library, worth a visit. In the downtown area of Lenox, in the Berkshires.
