We drove to the Railway Museum and did see the train but unfortunately the place is only open from May to Oct. We drove there to check out the distance from our unit. Looks like it is worth the drive. So sorry we missed it...I love trains!

I was very disappointed in this train ride. I had high hopes of seeing some wonderful sights from the train but it was mostly the backs of business buildings and homes. The train goes 2 stops on the train route and then retraces it steps. There are no restrooms on the train but they do have a porta-potty in the... More

enjoyed a brief, but short back and forth train ride as it's great especially for young kids as well as young families or older people which we had a lot on the train and good ops for pictures as well as the museum there is great the price is low too compared with most around the area.

Was here over the Labor Day weekend. The museum is closed for the season in Lenox after Sat. 9/5/15. The ride is very short. The ride is very fun however. The Train Crew were very nice, well informed, up to date on railroad issues and things not related to railroads. Most members / volunteers are former railroad employees. They are... More

This may be even better after they get approval from the State to run this railroad again on its 20 mile run. The volunteers are so passionate about the history of this railroad and really explain every aspect to the visitor Very very Informative and pleasant

It's not a big thing but it does have a depot and is nicely done. It's not a destination but is worth seeing.

It was a decent little trip for the money. The have a follow along narrartive and point out things along the way. A little bumpy, my back hurt a little afterward. You'll learn so many things too! It runs from Lenox to Stockbridge and back. The railcar museum was interesting too! We had fun!
