The museum has many valuable pieces to illustrate Ipswich history! There is a collection of antique carriages in the barn! That's my favorite part of the visit!

We spent 2+ hours, enjoying the museum's tour of two historic Ipswich homes and a reproduction of a "first settlers" cabin. Our guide was knowledable and personable. Might not appeal as much to children under the age of 17, but definitely recommended for adults.More
