Living on the Cape I have gone here probably a hundred times over the years. Most of the businesses come and go (except for a handful such as Kennedy Museum, Dragon Lite Rstrnt, The carousel (moved but still here) and Puritan Clothing - that have been for most of my 60 years) but the good times never change. Every year... More

Been going to Hyannis for almost 30 years. The main dray is improved in that there are fewer tea shirt stores and more real restaurants. Parking is always good behind shops on North Street and very difficult on main street itself. Good for people watching. Several used clothing stores that interest wife and daughter.

We took a day trip to Hyannis. Enjoyed our trip to Main Street. Lots of shops and restaurants. Something for everyone.. Ice Cream at Katies was great. Plan on making a return trip to Main Street . We could not see everything in one day.

I guess if you have never been its a nice little walk through the Cape Cod town, with plenty of shops and restaurants. It's just lost its overall look as its not as busy with less activities and a number of shops have gone out of business. Perhaps the Chamber of Commerce needs to plan more activities.

The main street of Hyannis has Many varied stores and restaurants. There are amusements and singing events nightly. The varied types of food appeals to every taste. The lines can be long depending on the time you choose to eat,so reservations and patients are needed. Enjoy the view and sea air.

We stayed in a resort just a block from Main Street Hyannis, so it was easy to walk down the street several times. I was a little disappointed in the lack of cute little stores for shopping, but my husband may not agree with this. There were several benches for him to sit on while I looked in what shops... More

We loved walking down main street. Gorgeous little New England town. Lots of people watching to do. We had lunch across from the JFK museum, sat on the outdoor patio and watched the world go by. Lots of fun.
