Cute place to walk, grab a bite to eat, and shop. Pretty artwork to be seen. Pretty lights decorating the streets at night. We saw street artists performing! All shop owners were friendly and helpful! Such a great gem!

This is a great little city. It felt like a small town while walking up and down, yet when you drive around it is much larger. There were plenty of shops and restaurants, plus the parks on the waterfront are nice.

This isn’t Chatham, but it isn’t Salisbury Beach either. It was a not so clean strip of restaurants, T-shirt shops, close to the pier where one can stop and buy a $15 sweatshirt. Been to better places for sure but it was worth the look while we were on the cape. But, don’t waste your time if you have limited time: head straight to Chatham for a quality CC experience

I give it a 4 only cause we went in rainy weather and it was cold. But we were there for Memorial Day and was pleased at how many places were open. Fun area to walk around. I hope now that it’s post covid some of the places that were empty come back to life- it’s worth it as a store owner, so much foot traffic.

This year was Covid different for just about everything and that is especially evident on Main Street in Hyannis, where one of the traffic lanes was blocked off to provide additional room for pedestrians to socially distance and for dining establishments to provide outdoor seating. I love the mix of venues along this thoroughfare, but find the most interesting things at some of the long time staples like Hanlon Shoes, The Mass Bay Company, The Puritan and The Boarding House. Many good places to dine and get a drink as well.

Of all of the downtown districts on The Cape, Hyannis is probably the largest. An eclectic blend of old school, contemporary and classic. A nice stretch of stores, dining options and tourist memorabilia shops. Parking can be challenging in season. From main street you can walk and enjoy the marina or for a little extra walk you can visit the JFK Memorial. Lots of everything to choose from during your visit.

We visited Hyannis and walked down Main Street.
We visited many shops, purchased some items, browsed in shops and had a beverage.
Almost all the people working in the shops were polite, helpful and thankful that we visited the shop even if we didn’t make a purchase. There was only one exception in a Kandy Shop I won’t mention.

We drove up and down, and stopped a couple of times along, this interesting strip of shops and eateries; while exploring Hyannis.
While Hyannis overall may not have the charm and quaintness of some of the smaller Cape towns; it has a historic seaside flavor of its own. This concentration of the town's commercial side is well worth a visit.

Main Street is the best place to be for shopping and dining.
They have the best restaurants and gift shops. If you can't find it there, you can't find it anywhere. Kandy Korner is the best candy shop on Main Street. They make their own taffy, ice cream, fudge and the peanut brittle is to die for.

Love all the shops on Main Street. Something for everyone. Love the clothing, jewelry, candy, odds and ends. Good food and very nice walking. Go there every year and live this stop.
