Lots of restaurants and shops but overall impression was it had seen better days. There were a fair number of empty storefronts.

It is very touristy. Went there . because my wife wanted to see it because of the connection to the Kennedys. Other than that I think there are much nice or more interesting shore towns on Cape Cod. Probably won't return except for perhaps a...More

There was so much to see and do. Shopping and restaurants galore. Felt like small town charm with city amenities.

Main St. Hyannis has everything to offer to the tourist.... restaurants, shopping, beauty parlours, quirky gift shops..... the time flew when we were there and it was a wonderful experience.

Wide variety of boutique shops. Nice restaurants. As a local I do think it geared more towards tourists, but that being said I would recommend it to people visiting Hyannis.

We enjoyed walking the shops and harbor. Some really great stores and a car show too! Not too busy when we were there

This was a quaint area with plenty of shopping and restaurants. We found it nice to stroll along and window shop. Wish I could try all the restaurants! They all sound fantastic.

And did I ;say crowded? Parking can be a zoo. Meanwhile, if you're looking for more classic harbors with birds, rocks and islands, consider heading north toward Gloucester, Rockport, Cape Ann. Mucho better and outside of the towns themselves (touristy) less crowded.

We all enjoyed shopping here! The area was cute and fun without being too touristy or tacky. Lots of shops, food, and drink to choose from!

Yes! When you are facing the harbor, take a left and follow Ocean Street up to the set of lights. Across the street is a pathway that goes through the Village Green and brings you right to Main Street.
