Beautiful Church!!!

This was a beautiful place to visit. Enjoyed the stained glass windows and the beautiful altars. To think the Kennedy family attended mass here made it special. Totally recommend a visit here!

Beautiful, Peaceful, Inviting

Just beautiful ! Well worth seeing. Can just imagine the Kennedy's going to church there, very emotional and touching. The doors were open, so we could go in and sit and truly enjoy the majesty; beautiful sanctuary with stained glass windows, and be in peace & solitude. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, in September.

Nice Catholic Church
Oct 2019 • Couples
Attended Sunday morning Mass here while visiting the Cape. The church has beautiful stained glass windows with saints on them. Located the pew where President Kennedy sat (marked by a plaque)...cool to know that the Kennedys attended this same parish at one time.

A good Kennedy stop
Aug 2019
We were staying right by the church, so read up on the historical Kennedy family aspect of it, and went in. It's a pretty church, and the baptismal font is exceptionally pretty up front by the altar. Def worth a stop and a prayer!

A Church, not a monument to the former president.
Aug 2019 • Family
Although we are aware that this was President Kenney's summer parish and have a small plaque on his former pew, this is an active Catholic Church that leads people to glorify God in all things and seek the Way of Holiness who is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We have an anticipated Mass on Saturday at 4pm, and Sunday Masses at 9, 11, 1pm (Latin), 3pm (Spanish), 7pm (Brazilian Portuguese). We also have daily Mass at 8:30 am, adoration from noon to 3pm weekdays, and Confessions Saturday from 2:30-3:30, Tuesday from 9 - 10 am, and Thursdays from 6pm - 8pm.

The Kennedy church was lovely. I appreciated the Gregorian chant playing quietly in the background. A nice place to sit and reconnect with God.

Sunday Mass Offered in Four Languages
May 2019 • Solo
I visited here during the Sunday Mass. I attended the English mass but they also hold mass in Spanish, Latin and Portuguese. For those interested in the Kennedy family history this was one place to experience a lot. If you get lucky, like I did, one of the locals related a short but detailed history of the church.

The ornate wooden doors to the church were carved by a father and son to honor the Kennedys. A plaque was located indoors.

The Altar was donated by the Kennedys to honor their oldest son, Joseph, who died in WWII. Various symbols such as the anchor were included as reminders of his service.

On the East side, the pews that the family worshipped at were still marked as reserved for president.

Visitors can come into the church at anytime but not during mass unless you were joining the service.

There was both street parking in front and a large lot in the back by the school.

Bigger inside than it looks on the outside.
This is where President John F. Kennedy went to church on Sunday.
