JFK Memorial is a nice tribute to the former president with a plaque in his honor, and it’s walkable from the downtown area (about 0.5 mi or so form the Black Cat Tavern). The memorial lies between the parking lot and veterans beach.
Grounds are kepted up beautifully, very pretty place. Beach is very nice and view is excellant. Parking is for a fee. Picnic tables and restrooms and play area. Fountain is very nice. Statue are very nice. Great place for the family to enjoy.
