Downhill with current management
Jul 2020 • Family
It’s not often that I write a bad review but I’m quite annoyed with the management response.

My extended family has been on the Cape for more than a hundred years- literally. I have personally played this course for at least 20 plus years.

Today ( Sunday July 5) I played with my two college sons. We decided to take carts. It was a holiday weekend. It was pricier than I had remembered but I thought it would be worth it. The cart seats were completely soaked with no dry towels nearby. We found one fairly wet towel nearby and did the best we could.

Throughout the course the was extensive littering of alcohol, in the form of beer cans and those small bottles of liquor ( few once’s), by many holes and thrown into bushes around the water hazards on the course.

When I returned the cart I let the man working in the Pro Shop know these two issues. His responses were infuriating and unapologetic.

I said that it was “concerning in this era of COVID that the carts hadn’t been wiped down. “ This was obvious since they were soaking wet. I was told they were wet because they were hosed down as if that was the company answer to Covid cleaning.

I don’t have a problem with washing them down- but for 54,bucks I was paying for the three of us I should have to find a towel and do it. That was a new one. Also water doesn’t kill coronavirus - that’s why we don’t just hose down hospital rooms🙄. No sorry , no nothing.

With respect to the alcohol garbage that made the beautiful course trashy- the response was “my guys are afraid to pick that up, “ followed by “well they go out twice a day” - pick one argument or another. Wear gloves, mask and get kiddy claw that picks up items. There was so much trash my sons were commenting on it.

These are two issues I have never encountered to this extent on ANY other golf course. The response from the pro shop is an example of disgusting customer service. Shameful.

There are plenty of great golf courses on the cape- choose wisely

Horrific service

One of the worst customer expieriences I have ever had. I made an accout on here, specifically, to give a negative review. The Golf Pro was extreemly arogant and rude. We were told on the phone we could rent carts and then were not allowed. The ensuing conversation was made hostile by the pro and we canceled our reservation

GREAT ROUND OF GOLF HELPED FINISH A FABULOUS FOOTBALL WEEKEND!
Feb 2019 • Family
What a great time playing golf on Cape Cod in the middle of winter. My sister and I, living out of state, decided to visit with family and to watch our Patriots. Very happy campers, as we drove around the West End Rotary in Hyannis and saw the sign for Twin Brooks, we decided to walk in and see about playing as visitors We were greeted by the fella who we think is the owner, he made us feel so welcome . Never really thinking about playing golf in February, we were able to rent clubs (even left handed for my sister) and just had a wonderful time on a beautiful course IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER. This will absolutely be on our agenda when we are back in July- it must be even prettier when in bloom; people who live on the Cape are so lucky to have this friendly par 3 that is open all winter.

Challenging Par 3
Aug 2018 • Friends
This is a great little course that can be played in about 2 and 1/2 hours. The first hole suggests that the course is pretty easy. The following few holes will change that impression. The narrow uphill #3 will challenge most every golfer. There are plenty of over water shots and traps to keep your attention on accuracy. Carts are available but the course can be walked. Snacks and meals are available.

we were a walk in group of 4. two jr and two adults.
the owner was really great to the group and went out of his way to insure the jr. had clubs that fit properly( we were renting)
the rates are the best on the cape and the course is challenging for good players and fun for beginners
this is a must stop on your golfing experience on the Cape

Fun par 3 course
Jul 2017 • Friends
Our foursome enjoyed the 18 hole par 3 golf course. Good course to practice your irons and avoiding many water hazards. Reasonable fee for a fun afternoon.

Owner rude!

Manager/owner rude! Would not accept Groupon because purchased same day. No where in Groupon does it say you can not use Groupon on same day. Owner makes rules as he goes along. No way to treat the public.

Hidden gem... Great for a seasonal warm up, or for a more relaxed round.
Mar 2016 • Friends
A stone's throw from the Melody Tent, behind the hotel, (er conference center), sits Twin Brooks golf course.

Although built in the '60's, this executive par three course is more challenging than a typical pitch and putt. The course is sister by design to the Blue Rocks course in South Yarmouth, designed by Geoffrey Cornish.

The operators of the course have been improving its contrition over the years. A couple holes one could use a wood off the tees, but mostly this is good practice for your irons.

Bring plenty of balls, as there are challenges I typically fail. Ride-on Carts are available,
but it's a good walk as well, given its short layout.

I'd like to see a 19th hole, but I guess the hotel serves in that capacity.

Great for social golf and seasonal warm-ups...
