If you are in the area and have a few minutes, this is nice, but don't make a special trip. Located right on the harbor.

Before you get to our favorite Kalmus Beach, Veterans Beach is a quiet, less (afternoon) windy spot for families with young children. Parking is immediately adjacent. This is not the destination for sun worshipers, but rather, families with young children.

Came here one morning for the sunrise. So worth it! Very peaceful and lots of sea shells! Easy to get in and out of and well worth the visit.

Beautiful Beach. Great place to swim or just go with a cup of coffee and a book and relax. Near town.

Nice place for a picnic, plus a very nice beach close by. Only thing missing is a place to eat (there's a members-only yacht club with a restaurant, but that's no help).

Stopped at this park while walking along the coastline. There is large picnic area with grills, a restroom, a small playground for the children and a beach with lifeguards. There is a charge to park, but since we were walking, I don't know what the...More

beach is long and narrow, and no wave action, because it is within the outer hyannis harbor, next to the yacht club. if you want waves and a "wilder" setting, go down the road to Kalmus beach. Veterans has the advantage of parking very close...More
