Great for families and those who aren't strong swimmers. Protected harbor; swimming area roped off so you know where it drops beneath the water. Note: we were there third-fourth week in August, and by August 25, lifeguards were already gone. So, plan accordingly. Snack shop behind beach has real meals, not just junk food, and restrooms with sunscreen provided. Attached... More

We went to this beach with small children on a day where all the other beaches had big waves. Because this beach is in the harbor it's well protected and had little or no waves. Also the beach is much sandier than any other beaches we went to in the Hyannis area. Water had almost no seaweed in it compared... More

This place has many ways to be captivated. There's the JFK fountain, the veterans memorial statue, there's a beach, playground for kids and even a picnic area for BBQ's and family gatherings. Just a great place to visit for some outdoor fun and relaxation.

Not bad little beach and not very crowded. The harbor water is not my favorite for swimming though. We were staying a mile away and were able to walk to the beach. They did not charge us the $20 day fee since we were on foot, very nice!

Great little beach for small kids. There aren't waves and the water was clean and warm. Right next to the yacht club. Plenty of parking.

My husband and I enjoyed the cleanliness of this beach. It was also not very crowded. We had a wonderful time, but, there is a very small swimming area that really is only about 31/2 feet deep at best because it is in the harbor near the Hyannis Yacht Club. I would definitely like to return with my grandson when he... More

This memorial is right next to the JFK Memorial in Hyannis Harbor. Beautiful views across the bay. Large beach and picnic areas nearby. Easy parking . There is a statue honoring the war dead with an emphasis on the Korean War.

Kids liked the little playground and of course the ice cream truck. Parking fee felt a little steep for what we were getting.

We've made this our first stop on our visits because of our kids. Not sure what it is, maybe the play ground, maybe the harbor, but they love coming here. Lots to see with the memorials and all the boats. It just seems to have a certain calm over it.
