This carousel is one of the oldest in the USA and is meticulously maintained. Add this to your list of 'Things we must do' the next time you visit Nantasket Beach. It's also very inexpensive and worth it.

This old carousel has been around since I was a kid, along with Paragon Park. Paragon Park may be gone, but this vintage carousel is not. Not mind blowing entertainment, but cool enough to check out.

we rode this our first night after eating at the nearby jake's seafood. it was a wonderful experience to relish in the glories of the carefree, cherry lane days we remember of our childhoods, a rare gift.

We stayed in Nantasket and stopped at the carousel twice! My 3 year old loved it! There is an arcade right down the street so you could spend a decent time in the area!

It was open (to our surprise) this past Sunday 12noon - 3pm. Last week in October.
