We enjoyed our visit, but it was a shame to see multiple derelict properties at the south end of the town. Beach was strewn with trash the evening that we arrived, including several dirty diapers. Vile people! Thankfully, cleanup crews were active...and the beach was cleaner for our morning through afternoon stays. Beach disappears at high tide, but is broad... More

I spent all of my summers in Nantasket as a kid. My entire family would always unite and have lots of fun. While the beach remains the same, the town has gone downhill. Roads are beat up and bumpy... But the beach is beautiful. Less than 15 miles from Boston, Nantasket Beach can't be beat. I recommend it for all.

My wife, toddler daughter, and I visited here during the historic cold of February 2016 (-35 Fahrenheit with the wind chill). We live on the upper North Shore of Mass, so it was a regional "staycation," but we really loved Nantasket Beach. Watching the ice form on the water and driving along the beachfront was serenely beautiful, like something out... More

My family and I have gone to Nantasket for the past three years and adored the experience. The beach is great for paddle boarding along the ocean. The people are very nice and friendly. The water may be cold on most days but then maybe 70°f at most if you are lucky. The beach is also very sunny. I have... More

The Hull area was nice, even in winter. Stayed at Nantasket Hotel at the Beach, which is right across street from ocean, good location. Far enough from Boston to be real Beachy, but not so far down the south shore to become "backwater".

Small beach but so beautiful. Sit by the wall as the beach rises fast lol found out by experience. There is a small parking fee of $10 when I went. It's a clean beach with packed sand and has big clean bathrooms. Def a beach to visit and will go again soon. The pictures added will show how close the... More

It does get crowded, but is gigantic during low tide! We spent all day there, collected great big shells, which my little ones spent a good amount of time rinsing them, painting them with water colors, and drying them again. Made sand castles (sand is perfect) played bobbles, loved that you can park with you MASS park pass, plenty of... More

My husband and I live inside the Boston city limits, but will sometimes head down here after work mid-week for some sea air, a stroll, and some dinner. I always leave feeling like I've had a mini-vacation, even when I've only been there for a couple hours and didn't even bring a bathing suit. It's especially nice when they've got... More

Very nice beach in Hull, public parking and pay lots. Beach is very flat and at low tide goes out a good hundred yards. At high tide, the water comes right up to the break wall, and people are scattering from the beach to sit on the break wall until the tide goes out again. Very clean, life guard towers,... More
