This is a fun beach to visit, with a sandy area that varies greatly in size throughout the day. At high tide there is hardly any beach, and at low tide there is a big, slowly sloping beach. This makes for primarily wet sitting areas,...More

We arrived later in the week day after hockey camp (4pm) to find plenty of parking that was free ! Usually a $25 charge but we arrived late, the bathroom/ change room facilities were very clean with friendly staff. Life guards are on duty until...More

If you plan on coming to Nantasket Beach on a hot, summer weekend, proceed with caution. Parking is expensive and depending on the tide it is difficult to find a place amid the throngs of people to put down a towel or chair. I would...More

This is an interesting beach - very rocky, not shells. But, during low tide a big beach to walk on. Ocean view was beautiful. Good view of the Boston Light.

The water and "beach" were clean. The only problem is that at high tide the beach disappears..at least were we were.

nice beach, clean, soft sand, lifeguards, plenty of bathrooms, shower areas, easy access to food. Check tides before going.

Nantasket Beach is a nice sandy beach. The slope is very gentle so that you can wade far out yet still be only waste deep in water. Small dunes protect the many cottages.

This beach is absolutely full of beauty and treasures. The day we went, it was low tide and the sand bars and tide pools were wonderful. We built sand castles, searched for shells and rocks and walked the shoreline until we were so hot we...More

Though this is a long thin strip of beach, it is beautiful and fun to walk. People come from everywhere and this beach is very eclectic. It has a great holiday beach vibe and everyone we met was friendly. There were folks flying kites, reading,...More

Paddle Boards yes. Dogs I am not sure are allowed on the Beach. They are allowed on the walk next to it though.

We were there in winter and parking was quite easy on the street, so can’t give you information on summer parking.
