My son wanted to go to the WWII reenactment weekend for his 21st birthday. Tank rides are amazing and the museums have so much information in them. You will need a full day if going on an event weekend.

This Museum is excellent. The exhibits are chronologically arranged which makes for easy viewing. The story of our veterans and history is told through a series of exhibits beginning with The Revolutionary War and ending with The War on Terrorism. The Museum is stated to be the largest and finest Museum of armored vehicles in North America, with many one of a kind displayed. Very impressive displays of tanks, aircraft, artillery and many other military vehicles. I give this one a big "thumbs-up."

Well worth the $20 admission. This museum has created an impressive presentation of American military history starting from the Revolutionary War to the War on Terror. A must see for all adults and children. The museum has a vast collection of military vehicles and equipment on display.

Really well done with clear explanations of each military vehicle, plane or weapons set in areas by conflict. You can take your time walking about. No rush. It was well worth it and it shows how many conflicts the US military has been involved in.

One of the best military museums I have visited. Amazing attention to detail in the displays and storytelling from the American Revolution to Afghanistan. Large concentration on WWII Army tank warfare with restored German, Russian, equipment. Many special events during the year that I would return for. Amazing place. Highly recommend.

Visited on their tank parade day and got to see 6-7 actual WW2/tanks in operation (and one very convincing replica). They opened their larger building since our last visit about 6 years ago and added greatly to their inventory of ground vehicles, especially tanks and half tracks. Very informative placards for the displayed items. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, recommend highly.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I took my 10 year old son to the WWII weekend because he is a tank/military fan and he left saying “This was the best day of my life!”. I am decidedly NOT a history/military buff and even I was fascinated by the exhibits. The staff and volunteers are incredibly knowledgeable and they go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable experience. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign to visit!!!!

Looking to be able to see Tanks and vehicles used during different wars and to learn a little about them? How about driving or riding in a tank? A bonus is to view vintage planes and Automobles. This trip will not disappoint for any war time enthusiast. We happened to book driving the sherman tank and exploring these things on Memorial day weekend, which is a special event day there and were not disappointed at all, everyone had a great time. No matter when you schedule your visit you will enjoy it, but scheduling a visit on the weekends that have special events makes your visit that much better.

My wife took me here for my birthday a few years ago. I was extremely impressed with this museum! Every piece of equipment they have is completely restored, and a lot of them still function. There are dozens of life-size dioramas throughout the museum, and it is absolutely packed with various military equipment and vehicles. This museum has the only fully restored German Panther Tank on this side of the planet. In addition to the military part of the museum, there is also a antique car collection as well as an aviation facility. Words cannot explain how awesome this museum is! I cannot recommend this museum enough! It is absolutely amazing!

I took my 14 year old boys and met their cousins, who had already been once. Although the artifacts and videos are incredible, it's the docents who are the real heroes. Most of them are vets, all were helpful and knowledgeable. This was an excellent day trip and I'd highly recommend it for anyone even remotely interested in US History.
