Great park with well manicured grounds. You pay for parking when you enter. We love the boating offerings. We rented a kayak but there are other offerings as well... canoes, rowboats, paddleboats etc. (check their web site for pricing). Nice large lake. We totally enjoyed spending a couple of hours out on the water. Great, friendly staff.

This park is a great place to go and visit for a trip during the summer. There is a good amount to do from BBQ to walking nature trails to kayaking. The prices for renting a kayak are fairly reasonable as well. The park is well maintained and offers a great time for everyone. Overall its a great place to... More

We have a season pass to all the state parks and go here often as we live in the area. The park has a great woods and lake to walk around, boat on, fish, etc. They also offer lessons and season passes to use the sailing equipment. The beach and BBQ areas can be mobbed in the summer months so... More

This is a beautiful state park with lots to do. Hiking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boats, sailing, biking. There are lots of barbecue and picnic sites and a wonderful spot for a large group get together. You can rent boats on site and there are 2 beaches for swimming. Good for winter snow shoeing too.

Been here a few times over the years and recently went again. As it was off season there is no entry fee and the boating / swimming areas are closed. Nonetheless went for a hike and enjoyed exploring the trails and walking through the drained swimming area. It's not a place to go for spectacular views but it is a... More

I enjoyed walking around this park, it has lots of trails and if you want you can go kayaking or canoeing. The only issue I have is with the people who go there and throw their garbage all over the wooded areas. It was really bad in some areas and was just a shame to look at. I picked up... More

This is a lovely park with lots of walking trails. They have a lake and you can rent boats. It's clean and very natural...a nice place to spend the day. You can bring your dog but need to keep on leash.

I recently did a 5K here. The park is beautiful with a ton of trials. It's clean and inviting. They allow dogs and this is a great place to bring them. I believe you do have to pay for parking on regular business days. But over all a very nice park.
