There is a small parking area for this park and multiple walking trails that were wide and easy to navigate. Many signs also. it was really beautiful and worth going to see.

Finally found Howes lane to park our car. Took a wonderful walk through the trails on New Years day 2019! Beautiful trails filled with boulders and water ways! Loved it!

These woods are the perfect place for a easy walk in the wood. The main trails are roads from past centuries, the geological formations that adorn their side are leftovers from the glaciers that preceded our history. It’s an easy walk but can get muddy...More

I love Whitney and Thayer Woods. My dog and I walk or run there 3-4 times a week. It is quiet, beautiful and safe. Some days I don't run into another human being; other days (weekends) I get to see couples walking, joggers, dogs and...More

Add this one on when visiting Weir River Farm for 10 more miles of trails. I enjoyed a nice relaxing run this time but have also brought my mountain bike for a ride, great mix of hilly terrain and flat bike path (unpaved).

Trails for bikes, trails for walkers, runners, dogs to meet...many entrances and easily accessible. Fingers crossed dogs will still be allowed off their leash going forward as this is a paradise for families with pets...everyone gets to run free and meet new friends!

I frequently pass through these woods as part of a connected set of biking trails adjacent to Wompatuck. The Thayer woods trails are wider and better groomed so they are far more accessible than some of the Wompatuck single track.
