We went on the morning whale watch on August 26- my birthday. A great way to celebrate! My cousin had never been on a whale watch before and my two teenage sons were with me. We all had a wonderful morning. The narration was very informative, both as we left Gloucester Harbor and then when we encountered to whales. The... More

This was my third trip with this company and probably the best one to date. The whales couldn't get any closer if they jumped in! It was amazing - we stayed inside on the trip out to the feeding area then stood at the front bottom deck. People do move around and it does get windy so pack a jumper... More

I'm embarrassed to say that I've lived in the Boston area over twenty years and never been on a whale watch. So I happened across a Groupon for 7 Seas Whale Watch and took the opportunity. I'm so glad I did! The crew was very nice and professional. The naturalist on board was well spoken and clearly enjoyed interacting with... More

Want to see whales where they belong? Call 7Seas and make a reservation! You won't be disappointed. I've been booking with 7 Seas for several years now and I've never been on a trip where we did not see whales! The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Always a great time! Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful informed narration. Nice clean boat. Not too crowded. Reliable and safe by reputation. Glad we chose this trip.

Such an amazing trip for our family of 5! We were a little concerned that the whales would be evasive, but we were not disappointed! The seas are definitely a bit rocky and lots of spray on the way in and out of port. The best place was the front of the boat if you can get a spot there.... More

I've been in several whale watch cruises, even on 7 Seas before. But this was the most whales I've seen! Three together gave us quite a show for the whole time we were out there. Then 3 other individual whales also were out and about. Naturalist on board was quite knowledgeable. Overall a great cruise. Boat was comfortable and easy... More

When we booked, we were first concerned there would be any whales to see. Then there is the whole crowded boat and everyone clambering for a view. So we booked and figured, at the very least, it would be a nice outing. Wow, what a surprise – we saw a lot of whales! Too many to count, and they were... More

it was lousy weather all day and we had the afternoon trip. fog was everywhere and cold and gloomy, this is july. the first trip didn't have much luck for we set out with a heavy heart. waves were choppy and they forget to tell you one side of the boat always gets the wet sprays. yes that was where... Thank you for the review! Yes, fog can make finding whales a challenge, but fortunately it is pretty rare that we do not see whales on a trip. Over the 34 years we have been is business we have found whales on over 98% of our trips and we have seen whales on all but one trip this entire season... More

My family and I went on this whale watch August 20,2016. We got to see 5 different humpback whales and received a lot of information about them. Only thing I would warn people of is that it is a bit rocky at times and it's really hard to get good pictures. My husband also got motion sick and had to... More

Thank you. We appreciate the review. It sounds as if you got to see quite a few whales on your trip, however it also sounds as if the weather may not have been ideal. We have many families with young children sail with us (in fact I bring my young kids out quite often) and they usually do quite well.... More
