Hard to get down to. When I was able to walk down I found it quite dirty. I hope someone has been able to get it in order. It lives up to its name as the rocks do form a half moon

This was a beautiful little beach area in the center of the town of Gloucester, MA. I would love to have gone swimming but it wasn't warm enough yet for that. It's worth a visit just to see it and it's perfect for photo's too.

It's a beautiful little beach, but can get crowded. Normally, people head to Long Beach on the other side though. There is a lifeguard on duty, which is nice. I attached a picture because it really is a nice little cove tucked away from everything. There are bathrooms and other amenities (like a visitor's center) at the park itself, but... More

This is one of the few beaches where you can find free parking relatively close. A family beach, not very wide so if you hate crowds and don't want to walk forever, this is perfect. There are plenty of small shells and beach glass.

This beach is small but framed by giant rock outcrops. My sister-in-law is a swimmer and she absolutely loved it. Very pretty.

Stopped here. Paid $10 for parking and they weren't collecting when we left (which was less than an hour later). Beach was too rocky for us to enjoy and smelled a little funny. My daughter played at the playground a little bit before we left.

My husband and I unfortunately hit traffic coming from western mass. but this beach was almost empty when we arrived and since it was around 4:30, there was no charge for parking. The bathrooms close at 5:45 p.m. so be aware of that. It is beautiful here, the sand is soft, and the cove is picturesque. Also a nice playground... More

Great LITTLE beach; great value. Parking is $10-15 vs. $25 at the more popular spots. Decent bathrooms, playground, gentle waves as it's Gloucester Harbor. My daughter loves it. Feels great to turn right to Fort Stage, when all the traffic is turning left for Good Harbor.
