My husband and I took our nieces to this beach last summer. It's a great little beach tucked away and easy to miss. The day we went it wasn't too crowded and the parking was reasonable. I suggest brining a grill or your own food. There is a place to get food, but it wasn't that great. It's a bit rocky, so I suggest brining beach shoes so you can walk around. The park is beautiful. …

How are you letting this happen around here?? This beautiful once quaint and clean beach has now been vandalized! Can’t even go there anymore with my children it has gotten so bad! Someone must put a stop to this! Vans packed with 12-20 people in them letting out and taking over! They have no respect for the park or anyone in it-they come for the day, blast music and leave all their trash and used coals and broken glass EVERYWHERE!! Please Gloucester put the brakes on this OR you will ruin your tourism revenue as well! We are locals and loyal:)…

I rated this a five because I love small secluded beaches. Try Good Harbor for a big beach. Anyway once you arrive at Stage Fort Park you exit the parking lot, cross the road and go past the bathrooms and then down to the beach. Bring your own food and water. There's a good sized snack bar but it's a bit of a hike from here because it services the whole park.…

Lots of paid parking space available. Very rocky beach with no lifeguards. No shade so bring an umbrella. Roadhouse eatery nearby but the food is substandard. Suggest you bring your own snacks. Ice cream stall next to it is great. Lovely views from the top.

My wife and children adored this beach. Parking was affordable with the $5 coupon available with a stay at the cape Ann marina resort, total of $10 to park after coupon. Also fun hiking paths with stone stairs, a shop with hot dogs and icecream. Water was stunningly clear, so visibly you could see hermit crabs walking on the ocean floor and reach in and grab them. Bathrooms a 2 min walk frontthe beach with showers and a brand new playground with plenty of trees to sheild you from the sun.…
