Too bad that access has been blocked. Access to the top was always rewarded by the view. Due to improper behavior by Some people this site is lost to those who love to go for a short walk in the woods.

Tried to get to a trailhead on New Way Lane but area is posted as no parking. Looks like the signs were made by the locals and if you were to try, they would call the police or take matters into their own hands. There is a road to the reservoir and from looking at a topo map you would... More

I've always wanted to visit this site, but as reported before, the parking area on Rt. !28 N has been blocked for decades. Originally conceived when Rt. 128 was a way to visit Gloucester instead of taking the train or the beautiful but very slow Rt. 127, this and the A. Piatt Andrew bridge had pull-offs to enjoy the natural... More

Nice place before the highway dept blocked the parking lot years ago! Great place for a walk or light hike back then.
