Cape Ann Brewing Company is an award-winning, family-owned, micro-brewery and the home of Fisherman's Brew. It’s Brewpub features the brewery’s award-winning craft beers brewed on-site, with a bar shaped like the port side of a ship. Long, German-style wooden tables and a sitting area with several rocking chairs create a mellow, laid-back atmosphere unlike anything else in the Cape Ann community. Classic board games are available for leisurely enjoyment. Local artist renderings adorn the wood-paneled walls and the large picture windows look out onto St. Peter’s Square where the famed St. Peter’s Fiesta is held each June.

Amazing decor inside. Sit down on picnic benches, rustic and quaint with beer sings and logos. Very cool. A little pricey but you get a heap of Great Tasting Food. All kinds of Condiments are your table. Even outdoor seating with a plastic see through curtain wall to keep rainy weather out under an awning. Fries were totally awesome the... More

Get a beer flight and sit on the patio and enjoy. Don't bother with the food. Also, they don't serve wine and the iced tea is terrible. But get a beer!

Great fish and chips, perfect sea side setting out on the porch, and a tasty Pilsner. Perfect lunch after a fun local dive.

This was your average pub type place with bar food, sandwiches, and some plates. I ordered the clam chowder because I figured MA would have good chowder, and the steak bomb sandwich. I thought the chowder was average, it was very thick and came out warm. The steak bomb was ground up beef on a wedge with peppers, onions, and... More

Cape Ann Brewing in Gloucester is a good, solid pub with a good variety of craft beers and good food. One of the best things about Cape Ann is the location and its good size parking lot. Parking can sometimes be an issue in downtown Gloucester. Parking there, having a beer, walking the marina trail or just walking the streets... More

Great beer, great environment, great people. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this Gloucester hot spot. I can't wait to go back.

Set out on a rainy day just to get a stamp in my husband's beer passport, but enjoyed a GREAT lunch. The soft pretzels are delicious, especially when dipped into the chowder (great suggestion by the host!). My husband raved about the Fatter Fisherman sandwich. We never get dessert when we go out, but since beer and tiramisu are his... More

In search of comfort food, we decided to try the Cape Ann Brewing Company & Brewpub. They make their own specialty craft beers; some of which are seasonal. We shared the drunken mussels made with ale, garlic, mustard and lemon as a starter and then asked the waitress for spoons to revel in the broth. Since we seemed to be... More

Casual pub with outdoor seating available. Good for large groups. I'm not a beer drinker but the adults in our group enjoyed it! There was live music on the Sunday evening we were there! I ordered the fish tacos, beer battered with corn salsa and guac, yummy! This also came with shoestring type fries. A few in our group got... More
