We spent a couple of days here, beautiful views and not too crowded. Nice place to walk along, especially out to the island when the tide is low.

I have been here nearly every summer of my life (over 60 years) and I never tire of the view. Although the beach has been eroded over the years, it is still magnificent with such soft sand. Be prepared for the cold water--no Gulf Stream...More

Good Harbor beach is one of my favorite beaches worldwide. Been going there for the past 12 years. Big stretch of sand, nice waves, great place for kids to play in the ocean. The only problem (and its a big one) is parking. Hot summer...More

We really enjoyed this beach. Nice waves and plenty of room. Kids had a blast in the water. Will go again.....if you’re looking for calmer waters for kids try Wingearsheek in Gloucester.

Visited in May and there were lots of surfers braving the cold water! There is lots of parking, but it probably fills up very quickly on summer weekends. When we visited it was very quiet - primarily used by surfers and dog walkers. Boardwalks to...More

Very nice beach, great location, but.....be prepared to pay up to $30 to park to visit unless you have a beach permit, and be prepared to deal with crowds of people. We like to go for a walk on the beach for an hour or...More

This is a beautiful beach located just outside of downtown Gloucester. A large parking lot is on site as well as restrooms and snack bar. A foot bridge connects to local streets. The tides are fun to watch as fresh water backs up and floods...More

I walked on the beach on a warm spring afternoon. This was before the summer crowds appeared. The beach is beautiful with flat Sandy Beach and panaramic views!!

The beach is still open after 6pm. Park on a side street and walk a short way. A footbridge accesses the beach.

I don't think I have ever seen the parking lot fill up on a regular (non-holiday) weekday. Its a huge lot (maybe 1000 spaces). Weekends are a totally different story.
