This is one of my favorite spots in the Cape Ann region. This beach is gorgeous and perfect for families/couples/friends, anyone! The rocky island off the shore just adds to the beauty and the length of the beach is perfect for taking a stroll or...More

The beach was nice and had public facilities. It isn't a walking beach. Mostly just for swimmers or surfing. The neighbors whose houses line the beach are not friendly to tourists. There are a number of signs telling people to keep off their rocks or...More

We enjoyed walking up and down the beach. It was off season but got to see some surfers and sailboards. Met some nice people to chat with. Nice beach and across from our motel. Plan on returning same time next year.

The older I get the more I appreciate the beach and being able to go down to the water, no matter the season and just take it all in. This is my favorite non-summer beach. I love it in every other season when it's not...More

Beautiful beach for a not too long walk at the end of the day. Have to watch out for occasional broken glass (not beach glass).

Great beach if you can get a parking space, fills up early. Facilities including a snack shop. Island swimming area to the left at low tide.

I visited Gloucester, MA, on vacation earlier this month. I went to good harbor beach and the water was so clean and clear. There are also some good sized waves

Unless you’re staying within walking distance, access to the beach is restricted to a paid parking lot at the rate of $25 on weekdays / $30 on weekends. Apparently the lots fill to capacity quickly too. As a recent visitor to the area who really...More

This is my favorite beach to visit on the North Shore. I tend to come here more off season, as parking is too expensive and beach gets too crowded in the summer. Good Harbor beach has soft sand, and is always extremely clean. In the...More

....and no working bathrooms (8/18). Only porta-potties. Which I would understand if they didn’t charge $30 to park. But you get a gorgeous beach. When wind is from the south the water is pretty comfortable. Nice waves, and flats that extend to an island at...More

I'm not sure; I believe you need a parking sticker or you need to pay @25.00-30.00 per vehicle and parking is limited so you need to get there early. I was able to go as I stayed at a hotel about a 15 minute walk to this... More
