Book ahead if you can.

WE had a spur of the moment girls night and decided to pop in near closing time for some fun. There was a large part already in there, but they were able to squeeze us in after that for a discounted rate, since we could stay the full time we paid for. Very nice of them to accommodate us. The entrance is not the easiest to find. The place is in a large brick building and the sign for the entrance is difficult to see in the dark.

Fun way to prepare for Zombie Apocalypse! :)

Even if you NEVER picked up a bow in your life, in 10 min you will be hitting a target. on the 3rd floor of a converted factory, this is family fun with NO loud noises... Training to begin, and fun and laughter to go with the competition. Store for those either more serious or want to take try elsewhere. Great staff, very knowledgable in the skill.

Calling All Robinhoods!
Nov 2016 • Couples
We purchased this on a Groupon - otherwise never would have known the place existed. Called ahead for our scheduled time which was 4pm today. We left 1 hour early but hit major traffic due to heavy rain and lousy drivers. I called to let them know we were delayed 2 x and they were more than accommodating. Arrived and was give a 5 minute overview/instruction on how to become Robin hood. My husband and I were suited up and given our arrows. It was a fantastic experience and they could not have been nicer. All in all we did not to that bad given our first time, I was able to get several in the inner circle, a few over the board and into the next wall, some on the floor but the more you do the more you get the hang of it. Great place for parties, kids of all ages. They even have colleges, leagues etc., We will be back!

Recommended activity by someone at work. Brought back memories of summer camp. Made a reservation for myself & two friends. Skilled, fun, engaging staff made it even better. Exceeded expectations. Patriot Place 10 mins away if you want a drink or lunch/dinner after playing Robinhood. Will return soon.

Went here with my fiancé after he got a groupon for two. The instructor Jaques was very cool and helpful. He helped us learn the basics and we began shooting in 15 minutes. We will def be back since the staff was great and it was a fun experience.

My girlfriend recently surprised me with a trip to Ace Archers for our 6th month anniversary. She knew that I was president of the UCONN archery club back in college and I hadn't shot for a while.

Coach Tom and the staff at Ace Archers we're welcoming, amazing and very friendly. While bringing us up to speed with safety and procedure, Coach Tom made it fun as well. They have a big facility to shoot it, equipment you can borrow (and buy) and is a perfect place for a birthday, special event and even a company team building exercise/outing.

I recommend this place for experts and beginners alike. Once you start archery, you will quickly become addicted to it!

I love going there with the teenagers as we can all shoot and have a friendly competition. It's a great night out even now when one is in college and the other in high-school. There are plenty of experts that work there and will offer advice when asked.

Great indoor archery range for all ages

For $14 you get all the necessary rental equipment (arm guard, bow, 6 arrows, and a quiver) and one hour of target shooting. The instructor gives a brief lesson on how to use the equipment and safety measures. Then, you follow the instructions of the instructors as to when it is safe to move to the line where you shoot from, and when to begin. You then shoot at your own pace (6 arrows) to either a closer or further target depending on the lane you chose. Instructors are eager to help you make any corrections. When all the people have stopped shooting, everyone retrieves their arrows and then returns back to the starting line for the next round. Things move at a nice pace, you never feel like you are spending too much time waiting, There is a "pro" shop with archery equipment for purchase, and there was a table that had some food and drinks, probably for purchase. They do classes, parties, and group events. All the instructors/monitors seemed very knowledgeable and were very helpful.
