We took the Island Queen Ferry from Falmouth pier to Martha's Vineyard for the day. It takes approximately 35 minutes to cross and the ride is very pleasant. You can sit inside or outside, in shade or sun. Great day trip!

Get here EARLY for the first boat trip. Crowds with pre-issue tickets and even more waiting to get them. The guys apparently running place were hustling to get folks parked and on the boat. Main parking btw is up the street. Handicap parking at loading dock. They managed to get us on but boat was already full so seats were... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our questions. I felt our vehicles were safe in the parking area, which was a short walk from where the ferry departs. The price was reasonable. We went before the busy season, and didn't have any problems getting on. They told us that after the middle of June (when the kids... More

(I bought a bike ticket and took it... More

Nice smooth ride to and from Oak Bluffs. Friendly and courteous staff. The cost of the trip is very affordable and it's just a short walk up the street to the tour buses or car rental if you prefer to see the sites on your own.

Our group of 12 had a great ride over to MV and back. We landed in Oak Bluffs which was a 5 minute walk from the docks. We enjoyed the bar onboard and on the way back the cold beer hit the spot on a 90' day. There were plenty of chairs and the crew made it clear when they... More

This is the ferry that was close to where we stayed. $20 to park. Wait for a while, you must get there early. Seats fill up fast. Nice fast ride.
