We had a very nice enjoyable time fishing on the Patriot Too on 6/28/20 in the afternoon. The Ride to our fishing spots was good. We managed to do some fishing instead of just going for a boat ride. We caught some fish and the mate, Adam, was great and friendly with us. This was my second trip this trip. My first trip was two weeks ago. I came back to this boat because of friendly staff and very helpful. Most importantly, the fare was reasonable and affordable for a family of four. I would definitely recommend others to go fishing with the Patriot fishing fleet. In facts, I had booked a private charter fishing trip for 7/18/2020 on their sister boat, the islander. I am looking forward to another good or GREAT day of fishing. Danny Lee

While vacationing in Mashpee, my wife, adult son and I took the morning 4-hour bottom fishing trip on 8/25/2020. Turned out there were only 6 passengers (including us) that day (the minimum number needed to sail), so it was like being on a private charter. The boat is older (1978) and slower than some, but after a pleasant and scenic ride on a beautiful day, we were fishing by 9:00 a.m. Mate Alex made sure everyone had plenty of bait and rags, instructed newcomers on how to use their fishing equipment, and reminded us all to use sunscreen. He was funny and engaging and made the effort to learn everyone’s name. Our captain (Capt. Dickie, I think) was an affable gentleman, and he put us on the fish from the get-go. We had pretty much non-stop action at each of the 3 or 4 spots we fished, and the captain didn’t hesitate to move to a nearby spot if things started to slow down. We caught more sea bass and scup (porgies) than we knew what to do with, and even though many of the bass didn’t make the 15” minimum legal size, we still wound up with 6 keeper sea bass that are destined for the frying pan. We also caught about a dozen or so keeper scup, and we threw back twice as many fish as we kept! We always like to try out the fishing when we vacation in a coastal area, and we’ve been on our share of party boats over the years. The Patriot was definitely one of the best, and we won’t hesitate to fish with them again on our next trip to Cape Cod! Thanks guys!

My husband and I have gone fishing in a lot of different places and this by far was the best. Everyone was catching fish, every 15 minutes their was a fish being pulled onto the boat. It was a great day and the captain Troy and his first mate Nick were amazing. Would definitely book with them again.

Last Fall we went out on this boat. Covid restrictions kept the crowds down and masks were worn by all. 5 stars for that trip. This time the boat was packed and no one wore a mask. I know its not required but I did not feel safe. People smoking, eating etc and packed tightly together. There was only 1 "Mate" for the crowd and we basically ran out of bait before the trip ended. The bathroom was unclean. We DID catch a lot of black see bass and porgies however so I would recommend this trip overall. We won't return until September when perhaps there are less people on board.

Only 2 poles for 8 people in sport fishing. The two poles were trailing and we got 6 fish the whole trip. The captain, boat and equipmemnt was all good. I don't know if they had a set up for bottom fishing with bait, maybe after 2 hours we should have switched to bottom fishing. I paid 424$ for 4 people to catch large fish and that did not happend (we got two).

Our family took the bottom fishing afternoon trip with Captain Rick, and Mate, Nick. They were great with helping when needed, and letting us do our thing when not. Knowing that fishing is fishing and not catching, I wasn't sure what to expect, especially when our 15 year old was wishing for a more adventurous trip! From the first call of "Let's go fishing! You've gotta get 'em over the rail and into the pail!", when the bait hit the bottom, it was "FISH ON!" Our family caught 40+ fish in the 2 hours of actual fishing we did. Time is limited because of the traveling distance to the fishing grounds, but it was just right for the younger kids. Even the 15 year old was exclaiming "THIS IS FUN!" Thanks for a great time on the water!

We look forward to several outings, especially over the winter, each year for many years now. We recently had yet another (of many) amazing adventures on the Patriot fishing (mostly catching) sea bass. The Captain and crew are outstanding making our time on the water a fun-filled day. Strongly recommend 6-hr trip as you'll have an extraordinary experience (well worth low cost for ticket on board, fish filleted, caring Capt/crew, and safe travel to/from dock).

The online booking was a little misleading, it told me that it was a bottom trip but it turned out to be a bluefish trip. It was a good mistake because we had a good trip and I caught my first, second and third bluefish and my first Black Sea Bass. The captain put us on the fish right away even though it was real choppy. The deck hand was very good, not rude and arrogant like most deck hands. The boat was wet coming back in but it was fast and cut threw the large chop easily.

Such a great time was had by all. We brought 5 adults and 6 kids, and all of us enjoyed our 4 hours of Bottom Fishing. We caught 26+ fish, and so many were keepers. Even the youngest grandchildren had thrilling catches. We even brought home enough to feed the clan several times. The kids loved taking a turn at the helm. We were grateful to have chosen Patriot Party Boats to fulfill our kindergartener's Summer Bucket List. Thank you!

We had a great time in the boat. Everyone caught several fish and they even filleted them for us. Bring a cooler to take them home.
Nice views of the Martha’s Vineyard bluffs. They played music and made it fun.
4 hours was a perfect amount of time. They supplied all the equipment and bait; they made it so easy for us.
