Visiting this cemetery go hand in hand with the Lizzie Borden B&B. We went after the tour at night - even better. We got to hear the history of the Borden Family and heard more about their family and the memorial. It's a beautiful, old cemetery and worth seeing during the day as well.

This cemetery is huge and it is easy to get lost. If you are looking for the Borden family plot (and let's face it...you probably are), you have to go through the main gates instead of the various side entrances. Otherwise you will wander aimlessly forever. We parked in back and searched for about an hour, then got in the... More

This is the place where Lizzie and her family are buried. It is well marked; however, the GPS will take you to several small entrance to at into the cemetery. Remember to enter from the main entrance, follow the white arrows on the left to get to the burial ground. It is free but remember to depart the cemetery way... More

I have family I visit here at Oak Grove Cemetery. I've also come several times to visit the Borden family. There are always coins or trinkets left by the gravestones. The stones are beautiful as you drive through the grounds.

Be sure to visit the cemetery after touring the museum to see the monument of AJ Borden, his wife, second wife Abby, and their daughters Emma and Lizzie (Lisbeth). People are leaving pennies on the gravestones, which are small and very modest. The death dates are on the monument, not the gravestones. It's also a nice, peaceful walk around the... More

Beautiful cemetery to take a stroll through. The Borden Plot is fascinating to see especially if you take the tour of the house.

Beautiful graveyard. The Borden family plots are very easy to find. There is really no need to take a cemetery tour unless it's part of another tour.

The cemetery is very big but average in my opinion. It is well kept and has some nice monuments but not really that many notable burials other than the Bordens.

We came here just to see the Borden Family plots, right after finished the tour in their house. They were very easy to find as the cemetery provides us white arrows painted on the walkway that take you right there. It's a big and historic cemetery with lots to see some really pretty headstones. Lots of colonial and victorian era... More

If you love cemeteries for their beauty and serenity as well as craftsmanship for the headstones then this is one to visit. The Borden family members are buried here and some of the stones in this cemetery are absolutely beautiful. The cemetery road has arrows on the ground directing you to where the Borden plot is located and if you... More
