Red line shows you the way to the Lizzie Borden family grave stones. You can drive it, but we walked it. Although I felt disrespectful going into a graveyard to complete our Lizzie Borden tour, it was nice to show our respects tot he family.

If you have just visited the Lizzi Borden House, this is your next MUST visit location to actually visit the Borden's grave site (if you're into paranormal). This cemetery has tombs dated back in the Civil War era. Pretty interesting place to see.

I stopped by to see the Borden's plots; there are white arrows along the main pathway to the left as soon as you enter the cemetery. Very easy to find.

We went to see Lizzie's grave along with her family. We met some people who were sitting at her grave. It was a nice experience actually.

It was very interesting to see where the Borden family were laid to rest. There are arrows leading to where the Borden plots are, so you don’t waste any time wandering around the cemetery. Definitely a must see.

It was very cool to see and follow how it all ended, right up to the grave site. Lizzy and Emma had tiny headstones

Oak Grove Cemetery (6 Replies)
I'm going to be driving through Meridian in a couple of weekends and thought it'd be nice to stop and pay tribute to Jimmie Rodgers since I'm there. I understand there's a museum (with a few TA reviews) and his grave in Oak Grove. Surprisingly half of the museum reviews talk about how dangerous the neighborhood is, and while that's not really factoring into my decision to visit during open hours, it is good to know. But as for the cemetery, I'm a little more curious. From past experience,...More

The cemetery is not far from the McDonald's right off the interstate. Sorry have not ventured very far off the interstate in Meridian or to the museum.
