We did the farm tour with our 2 young kids and they loved it!! The wagon ride is by far the highlight of the tour. The wagon takes you out into a field full of cows and they come right up so you can pet...More

Kids loved seeing the animals and gardens and going out to the field on the hay ride to meet the cows. Great for a cloudy day.

We visited the property to pick up some eggs and to look for a cut of grass fed filet mignon to cook as a special treat. The cute farmstand house is decorated inside with sweet paintings of their livestock. As it was June, there were...More

The Farm Institute offers wonderful programming for children and families visiting the island. There are so very many programming and event choices: farm camp, wee farmers, hayrides, meals in the meadows, sheepalooza, and coming this month - the Haunted Barn. We visit often and may...More

Funny to find an educational farm on an island. The Institute runs tours once a day (10am) and it includes a hay ride through the farm to see its animals (pigs, sheep, cow, turkeys). They have plenty of children's programs for local kids, so they...More

This is a must for the little ones. We were on the island for one week. We got our little guy into Tuesday and Thursday from 930-11 and he absolutely loved it. Totally hands on and educational. Teachers are very caring too.
