I highly recommend this Jaws tour for any age fan of the movie and also any of Steven Spielberg’s work as the tour provides interesting and detailed information on the making of this iconic film and director.
Mike, our tour guide, was fantastic - very entertaining and engaging with our group while providing much information on the town history and the making of this film. Mike’s demeanor is very warm, genuine and welcoming and it was a pleasure to have him as our tour guide. We learned so much more about the town and this movie and it was amazing to stand and walk the same path you see the actors in the movie doing via film clips throughout the tour. Very nostalgic and detailed and really brought you into the film as he shows clips of the same footsteps you are taking as the actors did. Well worth an hour of your afternoon and loads of fun ! Thank you Mike !

This was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard and decided at the last minute to book a private tour (I left a message around 6:30pm to inquire about availability the next morning and heard back within the hour). Mike provided a great overview of the towns on the island, and the people and history of MVY. We really appreciated his willingness to modify the tour along the way -- like making a u-turn so we could check out a quirky art gallery.

My fiancé and I visited Martha’s Vineyard from cape cod on the ferry-we have never been! The night before we were looking up things to do and we saw the jaws tour with Edgartown tours! We decided to sign up and take the tour. The morning of our tour mike called to explain due to Covid and construction, walking tours were permitted during this time. He worked with us to customize our driving tour to show us everything we wanted to see on the island! He was so knowledgeable and funny! We really enjoyed the tour! We were able to see things we wouldn’t have originally seen on the walking tour. Mike is truly great at what he does- don’t pass on this tour. BOOK IT!

Mike did a fantastic job providing a four hour driving tour around the island for our senior family group of four ranging in age from 67 to 95 and including our Corgi who Mike welcomed to join us. I think the big item of note here is how flexible Mike can make his tours. They can range from walking in Edgartown to pretty much exclusively riding in his Suburban and doing a lap around the entire island traveling roads a newcomer would not know to do. Mike is very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Highly recommended for arranging whatever type of guided tour you would like to do.

Had a great time on the JAWS Walking tour around Edgartown. Even though it was the largest group that he had had since before Covid, Mike made sure that everyone was safe and could hear and see his presentation. Mike had so many great asides and fun (and funny) facts about the filming of JAWS. We even got to say hello to one of the locals who acted in the film! I would highly recommend this tour for any fan of JAWS!

This is actually our third time on the Jaws tour and it never gets old! Next time we would like to do the whole island tour--we have never been disappointed in Edgartown Touring Company and highly recommend it, especially to first time visitors to MV. Mike is engaging, knowledgeable, and has a million little back stories. The hour flew by (as it always does). Thanks, Mike, for making our visit to MV a great one!

The Jaws tour was super fun and filled with lots of great factoids we didn't know previously. We even bumped into a local who played one of the kids stuck in the pond during the attack on the boater. Mike is very knowledgeable, fun and engaging and is happy to take additional questions from true fanatics. A wonderful family experience! Book with confidence.

Mike knew his stuff! He showed clips from Jaws on his iPad then showed us the exact location or building from that clip of the film. I rocked up in my Jaws T-shirt and loved every minute. Mike was happy to answer our questions and told me where we could find the Jaws bridge (and where was safe to jump off) and the beach where Alex Kinter was killed so I could swim there. He wasn’t in a rush when the hour was up. If you are a Jaws fan, this tour is a must! We came from England for it! Thanks Mike.

If you're a fan of the 1975 classic film, "Jaws," then you should definitely consider booking a tour with Edgartown Tour Company! Our guide, Mike, was a knowledgeable and congenial host, equipped with an iPad to show how early scenes from the film match up with the neighborhood of downtown Edgartown (which doubled as the island town of Amity in the "Jaws" movie.
The walking tour lasts about an hour, but Mike will gladly entertain your questions about the movie's minutiae to satisfy even the most curious cinema fan. If you want to plan a more comprehensive tour, ETC offers one a five- to six-hour tour. It's a great way to experience the beauty of Martha's Vineyard, and learn about a true film classic at the same time.
Thank you, Mike, for a wonderful time on the island of "Amity!" I hope to return sometime soon for that longer tour. And if you ever need some assistants to help out on tours, let me know!

We booked this tour with our pre-teen/teenage children in mind, thinking they’d find the historical aspect interesting. Mike did not disappoint! Not only is Mike incredibly knowledgeable and interesting, but he’s extremely friendly and kind, telling these fantastic stories as you travel along the beautiful island that keeps your whole group entertained. Mike takes you through some of the most stunning parts of the island, something we would never have done on our own. We also hit up an awesome seafood market for lunch. The day was fantastic, my kids were thrilled and we left feeling like spent the morning with a friend rather than a tour guide. We look forward to booking another tour with Mike when we visit this gorgeous island again next season.

There was just my wife and I. We paid $400 for the entire tour of the whole island . It also included the jaws movie walking tour. There is more to the movie locations with the private tour than the walking tour allows. It is a must to get the whole tour experience if your a true jaws movie fan. The tour is by private vehicle and Mike has a wealth of knowledge about the movie and the whole island. We felt it was a very reasonable price for the experience we received. Our host Mike was top notch!

The tour guide will direct you to Edgartown stores but I found good Jaws T shirts in Oak Bluffs near Nancys restaurant. I think it was on Lake Avenue in a T shirt shop. These are reproduction of the shirt Spielberg wore during filming.
