The bus tour was about 2.5 hours and it fitted into our visit schedule to this island. Otherwise we would have to rent a car at the pier and drove around the island. Unfortunately in this hot summer day the AC filter of the bus did not work. All of us got trapped in this oven for the entire trip... More

When we got off the bus we were met by a lady offering tours on the old school buses. We decided to take it and got on an old blue bus at the central square. When we started the tour the tour guide said to everyone on the bus that we looked an unhappy bunch of people. Not a good... More

We had Cat today to help myself and my in laws celebrate the 4th of July! He was amazing! He helped us enjoy the island while also getting lots of history and current events! He is great, and an asset to the company! We will be back again and I hope when we take the tour again-we will get him!

The tour is a highlight of Martha's Vineyard. Since we were staying in Oak Bluffs we decided to try this and be introduced to the rest of the island for further visits if we so desired. That goal was reached by taking this very informative tour. Out tour guide, sorry to butcher his name was Touley, and he was informative... More

We were a bit skeptical when we got off the Island Queen at Martha's Vineyard and discovered that none of the tour vehicles waiting for their fares were the one we had booked and paid for. We found out that we had to walk the length of the pier to the main road where we discovered that the tour vehicle... More

After getting on a old school bus, we went for a 15 minute ride to pick up more passengers at Vineyard Haven and had to wait 30 minutes before staring the tour. There wasn't too much to do or see. We passed some Victorian gingerbread like houses that the driver implied were the famous Methodist campground houses, they weren't .... More

We booked this trip plus an island tour. According to the website (which apparently they did not update), "The Sightseeing Tour takes 2.5 hours and passes through all six Island towns. Highlights include a 30-minute stop at the Gay Head Lighthouse in beautiful Aquinnah which is recognized worldwide for its dazzling red clay cliffs and natural beauty". Well, we never... More

My wife and I took this tour October 18, 2015 and it was most enjoyable. The tour guide (I wish I remembered his name) was very knowledgeable and ready to answer all questions. If this helps, he wore a cowboy hat and had his dog "Lady" with him. His dog was most friendly. We were given ninety minutes in Edgartown... More

For 1st timers on the island, this 2.5 hour tour which leaves from Oak Bluff provides an interesting tour around a few of the cities on the island. They did give you a 25.00 food voucher for the Marthas Chowder house. Just pass on this or give your voucher to someone already eating there :) Your typical point, talk and... More

Although initially a little apprehensive, we soon settled down to enjoy our tour with driver, Mike (Mad Mike?).it was such a unique experience travelling in such a vehicle, together with a unique driver. Mike was a fund of local knowledge and good zany humour. Having apparently lived on the Island since the 1970s he had many stories of the rich... More
