Located on a curved cove on Beach Road, this is a great beach for everyone, but especially those with smaller children. The water is normally calm (this August it was a bit more choppy that usual). Great beach to walk on. There is a life guard station at the very beginning of the beach. Jumping from the Big Bridge is... More

The water warms up quickly in season. Shallow smooth bottom. Most days the breeze is mild and off the land.

Great family beach. Calm water, great views and close to parking and bike path. We had bikes but I would guess on a busy day, parking your car might be difficult. It's worth waiting for a space!

It's centrally located, if you don't want to hassle with crowds at South Beach, and especially if you have lots of stuff to schlep, your car should always be close by. Waters are calm, shallow and often very warm. Swam there in October sometimes. No concessions, so bring your own lunch. Would be a great place to bike into, from... More

This is the beach to go to if you have young children or grandchildren. The water is calm and beautiful. Parking can be challenging, so go early in the day or later in the afternoon.

Every summer, this is our go-to beach during our MV vacation. Parking is free and easy, and the walk onto the beach is short. The water is clear and calm, with little to no waves. The beach is full of shells for collecting. There's plenty of space. Our kids love it!

Quiet secluded beach not difficult to get to. No facilities all natural but really beautiful. You will have to find hidden spots at the end of neighborhood roads to park. Parking free

Wonderful long sandy beach with crystal clear water and clean sand. The is beach split in two by the channel dug to film Jaws, which is now a favorite jumping bridge despot the posted 'no jumping' signs. I'd suggest the northern portion of the beach, a little longer walk in through the dunes but rewarded with a quieter beach. Parking... More
