My daughter and I have a goal of visiting each of the Mass Audubon sanctuaries, so visiting Felix Neck was a must-do when we visited the Vineyard. The bus dropped us off at the entrance, and then we walked a bit to get to the visitor's center. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, despite being in the middle of... More

This is a lovely, shady stroll through the woods and out to a secluded spot on the beach. It's quiet and beautiful. It's an easy "hike"--not strenuous at all.

My husband and I visit Felix Neck for a day every year when we come to MV. One never knows what surprises you'll find there. Beautiful walking trails, flowers, many types of woodland creatures abound and the views -- well, it is MV. I've seen baby deer I could almost pet, baby goats I did pet and the most wonderful... It is just a nice walk near the pond, birds nests, swans. Pleasant. Easy trails to follow. toilets to use. Wild life center with information. We liked it.

Attended the creature feature and it was wonderful. Similar to a story time but interactive. For $9 you get a story about the featured animal, learn facts, interaction with the animal, craft and song. Highly recommend.

We walked the trails, searched for critters in the ocean and had a great time, minus the goose family chasing us for walking too close to them, the staff are helpful and kind. For only $4 per person you could spend hours here, we were here for 2 hrs and it flew by.

I've been going to Felix Neck for a number of years on my MV visits, usually around 6 AM for the quiet, great light (I'm a photographer) and active birds. It's a very special place, simply beautiful with many nice trails and the always active (in June when we visit) Osprey nest. Last night we went on their summer solstice... More

Great walking trails take you to the salt water inlet with abundant crabs, clams, shrimp and horseshoe crabs. Great views of the salt marshes. Saw 3 deer on the walk.

What can you say about such a magical place! The people and the place fill you with valuable information and instill a desire to live more mindfully! You breathe better and smile more even just driving up the long and winding road to the base building. Endless adventure and fun for the entire family!
