I found the museum to be very interesting and the grounds were beautiful. The gift shop was fantastic, I finally had to drag myself out as I kept running back in for just one more thing!

There was very little on display about Thornton Burgess, a famous children's author in his day. The museum was mostly a library of his books. The wildflower garden was lovely. At our mid-afternoon stop, the animals weren't available and we couldn't visit.

We enjoyed visiting the nature center and jam kitchen. Some interesting history here. We also hiked the grounds and purchased some amazing jam. We would visit again.

Sorry, My mistake. I was thinking Heritage Museum and Gardens not allowing pets. Greenbrier probably does but please call 508.888.6870 to receive their current policy from their staff.
