Stay away! Staff are racist! If you don’t believe me read the reviews many others complain of racism. Secondly, when people post any bad review their responses are rude rather than just ignoring or saying “I’m so sorry, I hope next time your visit is much better”. They are just so defensive which is disgusting.

I believe in Karma. These people are miserable and unprofessional.

I came here with my family and the young teen working at the counter charged us twice by accident. I then asked that I wanted a copy of the receipt to show I was refunded. The girl simply gave me an attitude and said I know! My guess is that she was having a bad day at the time. She then mumbled “colored people” and I had asked her what did she say? She then said it loud stating “you colored people think you can be demanding whenever you please and guess what, your lives don’t matter and that I should just leave”. I have never encountered such racism. This was extremely random and we did in fact leave. I then spoke to an old man that worked at this place as well. He told me that im making up story’s and that she’s been working at this place for “7 years”. I told him seniority means nothing. Some people could be going through things and randomly act like this. He said it’s a family owned business and I can simply find my way out and that they don’t need people like me around and started to laugh.

Simply disgusting!

Firstly, you have created an entirely false story from beginning to end. We have you on video/audio surveillance. I know exactly who you are. You did not want to pay to enter like everyone else. You managed to work your way in and when we confronted you to tell you that you either needed to pay to stay in the grounds like everyone else or leave and wait outside, you got upset. The employee that you were very rude to, is a recent nursing school graduate and would never say anything remotely like that! We are a respectable business and have been in business since 1953. We hire the most exceptional, kind, hard working, responsible students. Our staff is an extension of our family. Your slander is completely uncalled for.

Breezy seemed like a good idea. We read the FAQs and reviews and arrived at 9:30 am on a hot Sunday in August. There are no reservations or ways to prepay so there was a line of hundreds(!) of people waiting to get in. Some of the patrons had masks, many did not. The crowds right from the start made us very nervous. When we got up to the grounds, NONE of the staff were wearing masks! I was floored as they were constantly talking to guest at close range, I was cringing for them! Their signage says "masks encouraged" yet I'm pretty sure wearing a mask within 6' of another person outside of your household the law in MA as of May 6, 2020. They do limit the number of people in the grounds- today they closed at 10:10am, but it still seemed very crowded and the swimming area is very small making it almost impossible to social distance there where people can't wear masks to swim. The waterslide line is another disaster. They have cones spaced 6' apart for people to stand, but with many groups of 6 people or more, this basically allows for NO social distancing in the line. We left after 30 minutes because the kids were crying scared and the adults were also extremely uncomfortable. If you go and don't get in or leave because you are as uncomfortable as we were with the crowds/ no masks on the staff and many patrons, Crystal Caves Mini Golf in Auburn is a decent plan B where the staff and more of the patrons respect mask laws.

Nice picnic grounds but lousy service, especially for the ridiculous prices! Website clearly says they take visa, but after paying $48 for admission for 3 people, we discover the snack bar is cash only! When I complained to the manager, he literally laughed in my face, told me snacks bars never take credit cards anywhere in the world, and pointed to a small sign at the gate (not even visible through the line of people coming in). Now packing up the kids and our gear to go find an ATM. I could get over the cash only thing but not the arrogant staff. There are plenty of places to swim in MA. Spend your money at a place that values it's customers.

An honest review.
Do not recommend. If you have a child who is big enough for the big slides but ends up being scared and they are too big for the little slides ( by even a quarter of an inch) there is no other slide for them to use. The staff has no empathy for that situation and states “you aren’t the first person whose kid was scared.” I didn’t scream- I walked away after trying to at least get the “slide”money back. I told them I would leave my negative review because talking to them got nothing. Bottom line - It’s an expensive day if your kid ends up being scared and - just like I expected - no one cares.

Cute lakeside swimming hole. Breezy has 3 small, but fun and well maintained waterslides (into a waterslide pool, not into the lake). Very large picnic grounds and as a huge plus they allow portable gas or charcoal grills. Snack bar had decent food and prices. Didn't try the arcade, but it looked OK. The beach area is odd though.... instead of having a large open sandy beach area, there are 2 or 3 small sandy beach areas and the rest is grass (right up to the lake). Very clean facilities and grounds. However.... it is EXPENSIVE! $20.00 for anyone over 5 and $11.00 for kids 2-4! So for my family of 4, including an 8 and 4 year old, is $71!!!! (Next year when my youngest turns 5 it will cost us $80!!) Very unreasonable IMO!

Really one of the more ideal summer family destinations I've been to in MA. The waterslides really are alot of fun - not too fast, not too slow. I went down with my 4 year daughter on my lap several times. Between that and the lake the whole family can be well entertained for hours.

The grounds (bathroom, picnic tables, etc) are really clean and well maintained. You can bring your own food or hit the snack bar for everything from hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries, ice cream to slightly more healthy options like fruit cups and yogurts.

Overall hard to imagine anyone not having a great time here.

We tried Breezy Picnic on a hot day because our friends live close to the area. Neither of us have been so we figured it would be something new. I had three children with me and it cost $73.00 for the three kids to use three water slides and me to sit on the grass. I feel like this is expensive since the water slide lines were long (30 minute wait) due to camps.

I liked the fact that you could bring in your own food and there were tons of trees. However, the beach was packed by 10am. Therefore, no room to spread a blanket and sit within 15 feet of the water area. The water was clear and looked clean. There is no "beach" area as in sand due to grass and a retaining wall. Our kids did not mind as they jumped off of the wall into the water. There are a few inlets of sand that lead the way into the water. These areas are best for smaller (toddlers) children.

There were many picnic tables within 5 feet of the water which made it difficult to sit and watch the kids while they swam. Therefore, I had to stand and watch when they were in the water. I would recommend keeping the picnic tables about 20-25 feet from the water so there is more sitting room for families. Most tables were holding stuff rather than people.

There was line for the bathroom though out the day as they only had 4 stalls for the ladies room. In addition, the line for the ice cream bar was 15 minutes deep as there are only 2 windows. However, the bathrooms were clean!

I think Breezy Picnic is a nice place but a bit expensive for what you get, long lines, no "beach" and limited access to the water. Yes, it is unique in the fact that there are 3 water slides but everything else is closer to a state park type beach. I would recommend this place if you want to pay extra money for the three slides and clean bathrooms.

We stumbled upon this place searching for fun day trips in MA & can't believe we've never heard of it before. On a lovely little back road is this charming picnic area on a beautiful & immaculately clean reservoir - with 3 fun waterslides to boot! Lots of shade trees but enough sun too, many picnic tables, clean grounds & bathrooms, a snack bar - everything is well cared for. My son and nephew, 8 & 10 yrs old wanted to stay until closing. Entrance is $20/ea but parking is free, it includes all day runs on the waterslides, swimming in the lake & they allow you to bring your own food, grills, tubes, floats, etc. Not a bad price for a full day of fun! We'll definitely be going back. (And Purgatory Chasm, another awesome place, is really close-by too if you want to add more fun to your day!)

Visited this week as a new & fun place for a road trip. Although clean & well-maintained, it was WAY overpriced for what you get. $100 for 3 waterslides and small, sectioned off portion of a beach for 5 people.

Hi, I'm sorry you found us "over priced" . I'm not sure where you can go today, spend the entire day, bring in your own food, free parking, unlimited use of the watersides and swimming and super clean for 5 people and only spend $100. We are a small family run business for 62 years, not a state park. Thank you.

There aren't many places to swim for free in MA so finding a nice, clean lake with ample parking, space for picnics and laying in the sun with your family is worth the cost... Almost.

$10 per person (age 5+) on a weekday gets you into the area and access to the snackbar, arcade and restrooms. Mid-summer is crazy busy and on the day of my visit there were 100s of campers there - screaming and running around. It takes away from some of the peace of the place, so be warned.

The lake is clean and refreshing and the breeze off the water keeps things cool regardless of the heat.

The water slides cost extra and are packed with kids and it's best to bring friends so they can run from the pool back up to the top since that's all my boys care about.

It's worth the trip but be prepared to pay.
