We started as a father son fishing charter business. We specialize in light tackle for striped bass although we fish for other species as well. We customize every trip for the enjoyment of our customers and pricing varies depending on length of trip. Most trips we leave from Sesuit Harbor and fish inside the calm waters of Cape Cod Bay near scenic Barnstable Harbor. Call, text, or email for details.

My friends and I had a fabulous time with Captain Paul and Kevin! Both Paul and Kevin are very knowledgeable about the fish, waters, and sport of fishing. As someone who has less experience with fishing, Kevin told me everything I needed to know. I was able to reel in 5 Stripers! As a group we had huge success and caught a total of 29 fish! We were able to take home 2 bags full of fresh fish and Paul recommended we cook fish tacos. Great recommendation - the tacos were delicious! Thank you for a great experience Paul and Kevin. We will be back!

Fishing with Capt Paul was like hanging out with an old friend. We had a wonderful day catching fish when other boats where struggling. Paul took the time to teach us few new tricks we didn't know. His boat is in great shape and the fishing gear perfectly matched to the action we where looking for. He put us on Strippers all day and we even took home a great meal. Paul was also very accommodating with scheduling. There was heavy fog the day before and forecasted for the early am at the time of our departure. He stayed in contact with us that evening the next morning, and even allowed our trip to delay a few hours to allow the fog to clear. He was looking out for our safety and enjoyment. We had such a great day fishing and having some laughs with Paul. Can't say enough good things about the experience. Will look him up again when we back on the Cape.
I must book for anyone looking for a more personnel type charter.

This afternoon trip was unbelievable! From booking flexibility to texting confirmations, Paul and his crew were beyond expectations. Finding things for 3 teens to love on the Cape can be tricky- but this did it! Not only did we catch our dinner plus many
more that we threw back, we learned so much about the area and had a lot of laughs. I can not recommend Sea Dog Fishing more highly! If you’re on the fence, just do it! Worth every penny!

My wife and son went with me for a 3 hours fishing tour. Paul and Kevin were great hosts from the start, great boat and equipment, different baits and tactics. When one didn’t work, very quickly they switched and we cought fish and had lots of fun. This is easy fishing as they drop the bait in the water, you get to pull it in.

Since my husband and I had never done a fishing charter before, I spent hours doing research on the various websites and perusing all reviews. Based on that, Sea Dog really stood out plus I liked supporting a small business. Paul the captain and Brian the first mate were very pleasant and friendly. We were able to first go and try to catch bait fish. This was a lot of fun and we caught a bunch! Then we went to catch the stripers. Paul was very knowledgeable and informative, especially since this was our first time fishing. He and Brian baited the poles for us and we ended up catching several fish between the two of us! Since we were so successful right away, Paul suggested that we motor over to Barnstable to check out the lighthouse. We saw a seal off to the side and that is where my husband caught a keeper fish! We ended up catching a total of 18 fish between the two of us! I am an educator and was happy to learn that both Paul and Brian were also in the field of education. In light of the past year and a half or so, it is extremely hard to be in the field of education, so my husband and I were happy to support this business. I strongly recommend this charter company. The techniques used made it for a very successful trip, the captain and mate were definitely very skilled and knowledgeable!

Our family had a blast fishing together. The Captain updated us on weather changes, committed to making sure it was enjoyable for our children 10, 7, and 6. In just a few hours we caught nearly a dozen Bass. We had lots of questions about fishing and Cape Cod and these conversations were almost as much fun as the thrill of reeling in the big fish!

Great day on the water with Captain Paul and his first mate, Chase! We all had a blast and a very successful day. The kids especially loved catching their own bait fish and then using it to catch the stripers! Loved Captain Paul’s technique, humane fishing hooks and ability to educate the kids while have a great time. Thank you!!!

On a day the fish were not really biting, we still hauled in 7 stripers and a blue fish. Captain Paul made all the right calls and First Mate Dave had them in and back out in no time. Perfect weather made for a great trip. Can’t wait to go back out!

Captain Paul was fantastic. He went out of his way to make sure the kids had a great time and caught some fish.
He knew where to go for the fish, provided some education, and made the trip enjoyable. It was definitely the highlight of our vacation, will do it again for sure!

Went out with a group where the experience ranged from very experienced to beginner. Everyone on the boat had a great time and we caught a lot of fish. Paul and Kevin were extremely knowledgeable. Was an absolute blast from start to finish.
