This memorial cites all those persons who were accused and killed during the witch trials (dark side of American history). A must see if you are in this area of the world. The site and surrounding area is where a lot of this happened. Lots...More

Danvers is really where the witch hysteria went down (formerly known as Salem Village, as opposed to Salem Town, now Salem). They play down the "witch" tourism, but did put up this memorial. It's a memorial not only to those killed (like Salem's), but to...More

After traveling to the Rebecca Nurse Homestead, we were told of this memorial which is only about a mile or so away. Without a tour, an expert in the field, or a good amount of background knowledge, its tough to get the full story (as...More

This is a lovely memorial to those innocent people murdered in the witch hysteria, but nothing but a plaque to read and a place to sit.

It's a small but moving monument to the innocents. Definitely worth the stop. Will only take 10 or 15 min to read over and very close to the Rebecca Nurse Homestead.

I love this memorial…. That nobody except hardcore people interested in the trials would know about or find. I do realize the importance of it being where it is but there needs to be another one in the heart of Salem town to honor those...More

After visiting the memorial in Salem it was very interesting making the trip up to Danvers to see their memorial. They are definitely different. This is more of a monument than the one in Salem. The names of all those executed are inscribed onto the...More
