My husband and son, 11, drag my daughter, 13, and I to at least one Anglers game each summer. Although I'm not a fan of the sport, it's a great way to spend an evening. Family-oriented, you can sit on bleachers, bring chairs, sit on the hill. There's a playground for little ones who need a break from the game.... More

We try to get to several games a year. This field is probably the best in the league. They serve good burgers off the grill and have hats, shirts and everything else you might want. Most important good baseball. There is always a crowd so get here early for a good seat. Sitting on the hill in the outfield is... More

Other reviewers have already said it all. Seeing a game here is a true treasure. These are college kids hoping to "make it". It's a fantastic way to spend an evening!

What could be better than a beautiful evening at Veterans' Field in Chatham, and hearing the purr of the PA announcer start another inning of Chatham Anglers (formerly Chatham Athletics) baseball. The Cape League is the premier summer wooden bat NCAA-snactioned baseball league. The players are from all over the country, currently in programs ranging from the Pact 12 and... More

The Chatham Anglers are a true local treasure. Great ballpark, great baseball, great energy, great experience. The concessions quality could use an upgrade, but other than that, going to a couple of A's games was the highlight of my time in Chatham. On Friday night, the ballpark and surrounding playground/little league field were filled with locals and their kids (all... More

Wonderful team that plays to win. These college kids are playing to be noticed by the major leagues. These are not "millionaires" phoning it in but playing whole heart. If you are staying in the area for a week or more, check out the baseball camp for kids taught by the league players. Divided by age with different time slots.... More

Whenever I'm in the Cape I always check out the Chatham Anglers (A.K.A Chatham A's). It's free, you can get an up close look at Cape league baseball. There is also a play ground and a 50 50 raffle. If you are in Chatham I recommend going.

Watching these college kids play is so inspiring - for 15 summers we go to several games and have a lot of fun. It is family friendly and you know you are watching future Major Leaguers. It is Americana at its best.

Being someone who grew up going to Chatham in the sumer, the A's games were a staple for us. We continue to enjoy the Chatham Anglers games. It is great way to spend an evening. The Chatham Anglers are know for their "5th Inning Fog". It is something to see. There are nights when in the 5th inning, the fog... More

What a fun family outing! It's a wonderful way to spend a summer evening in a small town. There is a playground for the little ones and a snack bar serving the usual ballpark snacks. To help offset the costs, there was a 50/50 raffle and they "passed the hat". Great idea!
