What a beautiful sight. Landmark and handled by the Coast Guard. Well maintained and free parking. You can get down to the beach but it's a bit of a walk. The view out over the ocean is beautiful.

A pretty, small lighthouse set in beautiful surroundings. There are plaques dotted around to tell you the history of the area.

The lighthouse, the rough beach, all part of the nation’s history. Even on rainy days worth the visit. Plaques tell you about the history (the British settlers stayed 11 years in Leiden before crossing the ocean!) and current dangers (white sharks!). Certainly worth the visit.

This isn’t a huge lighthouse but it’s a pretty place. If you’re on a lighthouse tour you should include this one. Very clean and compact.

We were looking for lighthouses along the Cape Cod coast and went searching for the Chatham lighthouse. It took some wondering around, and some wrong turns, but we finally found a good view of it. It was worth the adventure.

When you arrive at the lighthouse you have a stunning view of the beach and dunes, also a coastguard cutter in front of a lovely lighthouse. This area is lovely to look at and photograph. Well worth visiting.

Lighthouses are always a landmark and this is a beautiful one. You can enjoy nice views or step down to the beach. Parking time is limited therefor extensive beach walks are not a good idea.

Located in a charming village of Chatham this lighthouse is still operating. Is across the road from a beautiful beach. A pity that parking only allows you 30 minutes you you cannot go for a stroll along the coast line

We visited the Lighthouse Beach in the late afternoon and enjoyed walking along the beach, taking pictures and enjoying the sunset.

Go at sunset for some spectacular photos of the lighthouse and the sunlit clouds. This functioning lighthouse is located on the grounds of the Coast Guard station in Chatham. At dusk you can hear the sound of taps.

There's no scheduling of a tour. The lighthouse is Coast Guard operated, so everything is going on according to their schedule. But, it's totally worth it! BTW, if you want to se easier accessible lighthouse, try Highland... More
