Good photo op spot

Classic, historic lighthouse. This spot offers a nice perspective to see harbor and town. Close to town and easy to access.

Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Quite windy, fun to watch the waves from the ships fight the current. Visited on a Sunday morning - tough to find parking.

At the end of Main Street, Chatham Light is an easy and pleasant walk from the center of town, a good idea since parking is scarce. The view is lovely over the Pleasant Bay beach. Worth about an hour of time to visit and read the informational signs.

This was a quick jaunt before we headed back home from the Cape. The lighthouse is beautiful and we read about some of it's history. While it wasn't open this day, it seems there are tours of the property. On the other side of the road is a view of the ocean and the sandbar about which the lighthouse warns... More

The lighthouse is across the street from the beach and you can climb to the top of the light house for an incredible view.

Loved the beach view and seal watching. Highly recommend watching the sunset from here! Viewers available for a quarter allow you to see the seals up close.

Easy walk from town and parking if you need it. Nice but lacks a good background for a photogenic picture.

We visited on a wet day. There is a car park and a short walk to the lighthouse. There are toilets near to the car park. On entering there is a small display and a video that explains about how they moved it away from the edge. There is a short tour that takes you to the top of the... More

It was our first time in Cape Cod and this was on my bucket list for us to do! I am so glad that we got to do it! If you know about history and movies this coast guard station was in the movie The Finest Hours, and it based on a true story! It was so great to see... More

Mu husband and I really wanted to check out this lighthouse more then we could as it was closed the day we were visiting. It looks very nice from the outside but we could only get so close as it is a working lighthouse. If you're in Chatham, you should see it, but no guarantee that it will be open.... More
