Beautiful beach for the kids

Beautiful and very clean beach with two good restaurants across the street (must try the pizza at the Barnacle 2). Waves were just the right size for kids of 12 to surf it. We... read more

A beautiful beach with plenty of parking right beside it, restrooms and, across the street, not one, but two, clam shacks! A winner all the way.

Beautiful and very clean beach with two good restaurants across the street (must try the pizza at the Barnacle 2). Waves were just the right size for kids of 12 to surf it. We went to 3 beaches and the Craigville beach was the one we preferred (Mayflower beach and Sandy beach).

I can't believe I've never been to this beach before! It was a great beach for a seven year old and us adults! Not a far walk to the beach from the parking lot or to the bathrooms. The waves were very gentle at low tide, but a little stronger at high tide - totally manageable for a child though.... More

The beach and view are stunning! We went on a beautiful sunny day and loved every minute of our fun in the sun. The sand is thick/course with shells but it's true to the area. There are multiple life guards throughout the beach, I think I spotted at least 4 stands? Beach has restrooms and two restaurants across the street... More

Craigville is a large well kept beach. If you are used to southern beaches you will find the sand rough, but it is typical of New England.

Nice beach. Ice cream and snack shack across the street. Must have pass to park. Nothing fancy, a beach on the Cape.

Kind of narrow, very large grit sand, steep decline to the water. Not a great beach, but it gets the job done.

Craigville beach is a fabulous sandy beach easily accessible and with lots of parking. Lots of clean sand with a medium to fine texture makes it easy on the feet. This warm, south facing gem is popular with travelers and locals. Good snack stands directly across the street make this a good call for a long beach day. The water... More
