- Freedom25499639861Briarcliff Manor, New York3 contributionsGlobal Flight Adventures delivers as promised.I could not rate GFA any higher. I drove 7 hours round trip for a 2 hour flight and it was beyond well worth it. Miri for arrangements and Moses as my instructor were both 10+. I have no aspirations to fly at my age but I was intellectually curious about the flight deck. Moses was great at explaining the 1,000 and one switches, Checkists and procedures to start up, taxi ( seriously not easy) take off and landing. Highly recommended for anyone interested in flying while still on the ground.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 20, 2023
- Bill FSutton, Massachusetts3 contributionsawesome experienceAmazing experience. A gift from my pilot son and to his brother and me. The 3 of us went and each took our turn learning to fly in a 737 simulator. The instructor was top notch showing us every detail and making sure we succeeded. It was cool to pick whatever airport in the world we wanted to fly. You could also simulate different kinds of weather. I chose take off from Dublin in the day ad land in Dublin at night with a tailwind. The instructor was patient, relaxed and very professional. It was so much fun. I highly recommend itVisited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten February 16, 2024
- adeccommEssex, Connecticut46 contributionsFlying Heavy Iron from Boston to Costa RicaAs a pilot for 25 years I always wanted the opportunity to fly a 737. That dream came true when I discovered GFA's flight simulator. The realism, functional controls, sounds,, make you feel like you are truly flying heavy iron. Instruction was superb and before long I was on my way departing Boston to Liberia, Costa Rica. From Take-off to landing the experience was surreal!. The staff was awesome and the facility perfect for this type of experience. Highly recommend!!!Visited February 2024Traveled soloWritten February 26, 2024
- Terry R1 contributionFantasticFantastic time. As a 71 year old aviation guy who flew Cessna’s many years ago, it was a blast flying this simulator. Moses was a great instructor and I learned quite a bit. I almost talked him into us doing a barrel roll but maybe next time. I highly recommend this if you have any interest in aviation. Thank you and I will definitely be back. Terry RVisited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 6, 2024

My sons bought me a 737 simulator session for father's day last year. After a pre-flight briefing I was able to select origin and destination, weather situations, night/day, etc. What an incredible experience! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys aviation or just wants to experience what it's like to fly in a real 737 cockpit. Thanks to the GFA team for an unforgettable adventure!

This was such an amazing experience. For my dads birthday I decided to get him a 60 min gift card for the Boeing 737. He LOVED it. As a self-proclaimed "aviation enthusiast" and a history of flying, he thought it was the greatest gift. The instructor was so kind, patient, and friendly. He went above and beyond for my dad. I will be going myself, as well as purchasing more gift cards for my dad.

First of all I am not a pilot. Have this dream since years but never made the steps. I am a flight simmer though. I've done the same experience in New Delhi Airport few years ago and it was very bad, so I was stressed to also have a bad experience this time.
That was just AMAZING! The material is professional, no doubt, it is not a cheap sim,and this is what you can expect from this kind of attraction. But what made this experience so great is the team! Very clear, friendly, professional, calm, patient.
He adapts his speech and the experience to your level and this is great!
Mose is someone I would love to flight with in real life and 75min fly way faster than you can imagine and would like.
I have just one wish, make it again. And fly for hours!
My wife was with me, and even as a complete beginner for her, she understood everything and was tempted to try the sim at the end!
No worried about the virus, everything is cleaned between each session.
Highly recommend.
X.

I booked a dual for my 10 year old granddaughter. Ahead of time she had done a walk-around of a Cessna 172 and had some instruction on the theory of flight.
The simulator for the 172 was an actual cockpit with real instruments, just as she had seen in the real thing. The Global Flight Adventures instructor was simply EXCELLENT ! He was patient and carefully guided her from take off to navigation to landing, explaining everything in detail at every step. This was her first time and she ended the session excited with knees knocking and sweat on her face, attesting to the realism of the session. I highly recommend this experience for anyone wanting to plant the seed of flight in their youngster.

I have always been a big aviation enthusiast. When I heard about the Boeing 737-800 simulator, I had to try it! I signed up for the two hour package as a birthday present to myself. Wow! What an amazing experience! The graphics are incredible and Moses, the flight instructor, was awesome! It truly felt, looked, and sounded like being on an actual Boeing jet. I did many take offs and landings and even, at my request, had random failures occur to see how I handled them. The two hours literally flew by! I can’t wait to do this again! I highly recommend Global Flight Adventures. You will not be disappointed.

I am an old-time airplane pilot with thousands of hours flying, as a flight instructor and as a captain on commuter and corporate airplanes. It was 1962, as I drove my car past Norwood airport, that I decided to stop, and take an airplane ride. I fell in love with flying airplanes at that time and I acquired all of the licenses that were printed by the government, including the PhD of the air the Airline Transport pilot's license.
A few weeks ago as I drove by the airport again, 59 years later, when I saw the sign, Global Flight Adventures, I stopped and inquired about flying the simulators, I was terribly impressed when I walked in the door and I was warmly greeted by, Mary, the receptionist.
The cleanliness of the entire operation was excellent. The Cessna 172 and the Boeing 737-800 NG simulators were modern, clean, extremely authentic in every detail. I signed on for a 10 hour program to start a refresher course.
My instructor, Moses , was very proficient, professional, patient, and very knowledgeable about the aircraft and systems; he was especially considerate about teaching new students in the Boeing 737-800NG simulator, such as myself.
He put me into the captain's seat and he showed me how to start the engines and fly the airplane around Boston. He even let me land the plane not only that but he let me take the plane off the ground. He was patient and taught me how to fly the plane the correct way. It was so much fun flying with him in that beautiful airplane, I just can't wait to go back and fly some more. I feel like I died and went to heaven. Global Air Adventures beats going to Disney World for sure.
I guarantee that, no matter if you are a child with no experience or an old time Boeing 747 captain , you will enjoy this out of earth experience with great instructors
Sincerely,
Dan McCarthy.

We gave our son a gift certificate for the Dual Single Engine SIM flight for his 14th birthday. This was his first experience doing a SIM flight. He had a blast! Now he wants to know when he can go back.
Our instructor was Josh. I can't say enough about how great he was. He is clearly very knowledgeable about airplanes and the SIM systems. He explained everything simply - so that a first-time, 14 year old, had no trouble picking up the instructions.
I would HIGHLY recommend Josh and Global Flight Adventures to anyone who has an interest in aviation!

We flew into Norwood Airport (KOWD) and took a short Uber (5 minutes) to get to Global Flight Adventures. Mira warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home, and within minutes, Moses had the simulator set up and ready to go with all the options I had requested (I had done this before). Moses is great at both explaining things, but also patient enough to let you actually do what he's explaining. The flight was from JFK to BOS (an intro for my friend who was coming for the first time) and then a flight from JFK to LGA, flying the Expressway Visual to 31, which is a very challenging approach. Everything went great and Moses made sure we both had a great time as well as left learning a lot about the 737-800..and of course, preparing us for our next return to Global Flight Adventures :-)

I can't say enough great things about this experience! I purchased a gift certificate for my husband for his birthday, and he absolutely loved it! I first called to ask some questions a couple of weeks ago, and was guided to the best option for what I was looking for. I purchased the gift certificate online as directed and then the team handled my reservation. I even switched it at the last minute due to a scheduling change and was accommodated quickly and easily! The day of we arrived and filled out paperwork, and we were relieved and happy to see the Covid precautions that were being taken. The team was professional and courteous and made the whole experience fun and easy. I highly recommend checking out Global Flight Adventures if you get the chance!

They have different packages. There is a 20 mins for 89.00 and 40 mins for 159.00. Then it goes up from there. I did the 40 mins I would recommend the 40 mins. You won’t regret it.

How much time would you recommend? I want to get this for my husband who dreams about getting his license. He's taking a lesson or 2 over in Mansfield. Would I be able to book for October with Moses? Thanks
Written August 3, 2018
Do the 40 minute option. The 20 minutes would evaporate during the night introduction phase. Well worth it. I'd do 1 hour if I were solo.
