Cute Park
Sep 2019
Nice windmill village and playground for the kids, plus a huge gazebo. Walking path around the park is easy. Was hoping for a path to the bay....we went down one path off of the one around the park, but it seemed to dead-end in marshy stalks with no clearly marked path, so we turned around.

Great local events at very pretty park
Aug 2018 • Family
This beautiful park features a lovely windmill. We visited on Sunday, when the Brewster Farmer's Market is held. It was lively and fun, with Historical Society staff teaching kids about the mill. Do check out the schedule of events at the park. Other than the excellent farmer's market, we also came by for a Flea market and a great Arts & Crafts fair. Our younger daughter really enjoyed the playground.

A nice green space
May 2018 • Solo
I came across this unexpectedly while driving RT 6A. It is a beautiful open green area perfect for summer activities. There are benches and picnic tables scattered though out making it a great spot for relaxing or picnicking. There is also a large gazebo providing a great shaded shelter for additional activities. A pathway borders the green, great for walking or running. Beyond the park, down a short path, you arrive at the marsh with the bay beyond. Adjacent to the park is an historical area with three original, restored early American buildings. There is also a play area for small children with swings, slides, and other equipment. This is a park for all.

Lovely park for a early morning walk. A childs playground, and a photo op!

Lovely little park for a nice walk away from traffic. Nice little children's play area away from traffic and parking lot. A gazebo to get out of the sun and bring a picnic.

Park and old buildings
Sep 2017 • Couples
We saw the old windmill so stopped to explore. As well as the lovely windmill there is a replica blacksmith's shop ad a traditional farm house. We visited on a Monday morning when all the buildings were closed, but we were able to walk all around the site.

Sunday night band concert
Jul 2017 • Couples
First night of vacation and we stumbled upon this beautiful park and there was a 6:00pm concert on the gazebo. What a beautiful piece of Americana! People with lawn chairs strewn around the grass, picnickers, and little kids playing and dancing, and the local band playing a variety of tunes. At the 1/2 time break, they have a tradition where they pass out small American flags, and the kids march around the gazebo, led by one of the drummers, while the band plays a match.

Next time we bring dinner and make it a picnic, as this was idyllic.

windmill

we parked here at first to walk to the dunes but on the way back we went and visited the windmill. the guide was excellent and we learned so much about how it worked. going inside and upstairs was amazing but not for those who have trouble with stairs.

Breath taking view of the Bay
Jul 2017 • Business
A town park complete with antique working windmill, blacksmith shop, bandstand and scenic vista. Come on Sunday night in the summer for a free band concert.

A good green space - play area great for young kids
Feb 2017 • Couples
We stopped by to get a walk in before traveling home to CT. The park is fairly small - there are some short trails but they kind of dead end at the marsh area heading to the bay. The kids play area is very nice though and would be a great stop for young parents to burn off some excess energy before putting their kids in a car to head home!

Nice Park
Dec 2016 • Couples
This park is across the street from Brewster By The Sea B & B. It's nice if you want to go for a morning walk. It also has a Windmill.
