This library is wonderful from the outside in. It's unique maroon and gold paint are unique, and the staff inside friendly and willing to help. A whole cadre of volunteers help keep the library running. The annual book sale is not to be missed (begins in July) and donations are accepted most of the year.

The Brewster Ladies Library captures the charm of a small town from the outside in. Not only is the library picturesque, the staff and accommodations are warm and inviting. The Library is one of the significant elements that give the town of Brewster its year-round charm!

This is a beautiful library on Rte. 6A in Brewster. The staff is friendly and helpful and the children's section is very kid-friendly and welcoming - unlike some other libraries on the Cape where you feel like your kid can't even breathe without a dirty look.

We went to the Library for their winter book sale. They have lots of books in the basement, all arranged in a logical order. We didn't go into the library itself, but it looked quite inviting.

The staff was very helpful in aiding my use of document printing from my phone off the internet. I had to do a 2 sided job ( which was not easy ), but doable. Found some paperback which could easily have bee used for beachreading in season, but made good travel companions. Excellent facility and staff with modern equipment and... More

Obscure books, references in research, technical assistance with online study... Friendly and helpful, the staff at BLL is always willing to lend a cheerful hand. And they don't give up easily if they run into difficulties.

I was surprised by the size of the library and number of books in their collection. Conference room is also a very nice amenity.

As a volunteer at the Brewster Ladies' Library, I see how hard the employees work to make sure every patron gets what they need. This library is small but always growing and keeping up with the latest books, magazines, movies, etc. and what the public is needing and wanting. There are many organizations and clubs that utilize this facility. There... More

Ladies Library is not just a library but very historical as well. Back in 1850,s two young girls named Sarah and Mary who where daughters of Sea Captain decided they needed a library for their town of Brewster and they did something about it. They got together with some other girls and started working various odd jobs to get money... More
