Brewster Ladies' Library isn't just for ladies! The name is historical, as five young ladies started the library in the 19th century. Take the time to investigate the history; it's interesting. The library is now mostly funded by the town, but generous members volunteer their time and donate money to provide extra services that the town can't afford. It's very... More

I'm a part time resident of Brewster and the Ladies Library is a jewel. They have an excellent selection of all library materials, computers and a wonderful staff! Also, there's often a really extensive book sale going on several times a year. So, if you are visiting for the summer -- pick up a book for a dollar or two... More

The building is a wonderful blend of old and new, with the architectural styles meshing seamlessly. In addition to books, CDs, and DVDs, the library offers concerts, art exhibits, lectures, computer access, and a special room just for teens.

The Brewster Ladies Library is great. It's small town with very helpful staff, and they will get anything for you from the connected library system. They have a lovely, comfortable, quiet reading room, and often have exhibits of local artisans. The August book sale sale is a local favorite.

Love to go to this library. There are places to sit and relax, the setting is quiet and peaceful. The new parking lot is awesome! Have been to events here and was very impressed. Bring back the teen cooking challenge - it was fantastic!

This is a lovely library with an unbelievable range of services. If you are on vacation and need internet access and printing capabilities, this is the place to go. If you run out of books or movies, it is the place to go. If you need an audio book, you guessed it, this is the place to go. The selection... More

enjoyed listening to a program on owls here. The library workers are very helpful and nice. The library entrance is in the back. Large parking lot. Different style building than the typical library

This local library is great for residents and visitors alike. In addition to the usual array of books, they have extensive (if somewhat dated) collection of DVDs for loan and a free magazine swap. They have free wifi, too. This is a great place to know about for those occasional rainy days on the Cape. The staff is super-friendly, too.
