Excellent conditions on the Port course. Fairways mint as well as bunkers. Great sand. Greens receptive a tad slow but good. Don’t play a lot of break. Got right off on time as a single, joined a friendly group. Oddly, the starter came out to tell us that the group 2 ahead took 4 shots to get 100 yards and we may want to play thru. Huh? I asked do you have a ranger and he didn’t answer. Sure enough 2.5 hours on front and thankfully they left after 9. Off we go on the back, no one in front. We finish 11 and some guy said to me do you know you have 2 open holes in front? I m wasn’t sure who he was dressed in black with no ranger flag or company clothing. I replied where were you on the front as we waited every shot and the group that left after nine was 3 holes out of position. He replied no one called. Can’t make it up. I drove away. At 80 bucks a round get a few professional rangers out there! Other than this, fun track and good time.

Way to much going on around the tees and starting area. Noisy and people not being quiet. Staff was second to none from the time we arrived. Course was in very good shape and played tough. Pace of play was awful as we waited on every shot once we left the first hole

My wife and I play The Captain's courses as often as we can. The facility is very well maintained, the staff is quite helpful and the players are always friendly. They seem to have mastered pacing the 4-somes and the rangers keep things moving at a very good pace. Both courses are fun with Port being a tougher track. My wife's only possible negative comment is that when we play as a couple we rarely get paired with another couple.

Played with family and friends today on the Port course and had a good time. Course is in good shape. Water is in play on only 2 or 3 holes. Lots of trees. Nice variety of holes. Good pace of play. A little expensive for a public course, but average for the cape. Worth trying it out.

Last summer, it was a great sunny along nice breezy weather in August to play golf. It has 36 holes. The golf course looks comfort and green. The grass looks smooth along some challenges in the hills on some of courses to play on.
