Best beaches on the Cape are in Brewster. Enjoy the Brewster Flats and just a day on the beach. Low and Mid Tide is the best time, just check tide charts.

Nice little beach. Great for kids. Very shallow tide which allows them to be able to walk way out. Beach is a short walk from the parking lot

Cars are limited due to COVID, but the beach is open to the public after 4 PM daily. Otherwise it's only open to residents of Brewster.

It is a small beach that does not appear to get too crowded---ideal for families with children---because of it's size, it is easier to keep an eye on active kids. It has a parking lot that is close, but it is not that large. Be sure to check the tide charts before you go---if you want to swim, the tide must be in, as when the tide is out, it goes out much further than you want to be walking to go swimming. We loved experiencing the tide being out, as it is quite a site--you almost have to see it to believe it. Check out my photos for more details.

This beach was right down the block from where we stayed. The tide chart worked in our favor --we were able to see the tidal flats. An interesting phenomenon where low tide recedes out about 2 miles and you can walk pretty far from shore. The receding water also leaves some beautiful patterns in the sand.
