I spent my entire childhood and teen years going to the plaza. I grew up in Braintree and it was a great place to go shopping or get food at a restaurant or the food court. Within the past 7 years or so it has gone so downhill it’s so disappointing. The stores have slowly been dwindling which I understand is from people doing more online shopping. However the security needs to step it up on the gangs hanging out here. I would never feel safe in here again. I go to the anchor stores now if I have to. I would never go into the actual mall itself again. People allowing their kids to learn how to walk in the middle of the mall, huge groups of teenagers walking right into you, yelling, running...when I was a teenager we would be scolded by security if we did any of those thing. We weren’t even allowed to walk in big groups. They would tell us we needed to break up into smaller groups. Time for a change

We always enjoy South Shore Plaza. It has so many stores and a nice selection of restaurants. The electronic selection is awesome. The only downside is the book store is not inside the mall. Wear comfy shoes!

Not as big as the "Mall of America" but with a little walking you can still find pretty much anything there. Frequent problems with the escalators

My first visit because of a family celebration. I had 4 hours to shop and was able to easily find what I needed. I even had a 20 min. mobile chair massage!
