My wife and I visited Cold Springs which in our opinion is one of the best spots around Western Massachusetts, up there with the Ranch if not better and a lot cheaper with ALL of the amenities and more. There restaurant/bar is fabulous. By time you get out your car a cart man is there with a cart and ready to load your bags which is very welcoming and not over intrusive in our opinion, it’s not like he’s there invading your space. He does what he does and leaves and these guys deserve the best tips for there service. On this day Dave the pro shop head was wonderful. We booked an 11:30am tee time for the day before on golf now by accident and this wonderful man still honored it on Wednesday. THANK YOU DAVE! Your staff and you are the standard in which a course should be.

Great scenery looking over the golf course. The landscape and hills are beautiful, especially in the Spring and Fall seasons.

I parked my car in the parking lot. Before I had even opened the door to get out, a gentleman was at my trunk with a golf cart. He placed my clubs onto the cart and waited for me to change into my golf shoes. He then took me to the pro shop, where I registered and waited for my friends who were joining me. The pro shop was well-stocked with golf attire, balls, shoes, and accessories. Bathrooms were immaculate. The score card has a helpful map to navigate the course. The course itself is absolutely lovely --- with flowers, shrubs, ponds, and bridges to go over while moving between holes. To protect golfers, there is a tunnel under Route 21, so that you can go across the street safely to play holes 8-18. There is a restaurant, but it was closed for the season. The paths were macadam and they were in great shape. There are some really interesting holes on this course. The first tee is on three different levels and the top level has the loveliest view of the area's hills. The 10th hole has a pond on the left side of the fairway. The 18th hole is a par 3 with a large area of water and plants. The hole is a long par 3 atop a hill, as well. The fairways were impeccably cared for. The tees were in excellent shape, as were the greens. We were treated so nicely by every member of the staff. They thanked us for coming and we will definitely return.

Although it took two hours driving time from Burlington, Ma., the suspense of playing a semi-private course was well worth it. The assistant pro, Dave Wright, was accommodating. The reasonable price for the golf took our minds off the drive. We went on a weekday and conditions were wide open, so our round was under 4 hours. Now for the course. There’s a great variety of holes with 6 par 3’s, 5 par 5’s, and7 par 4’s. Nice elevation changes with abundant real-estate, so on the lengthy holes, you can let it rip. The 18th is the only hole where you need a long tee shot to clear a water hazard, and then you have an uphill shot over one of their beautiful bunkers to an elevated green for a challenging finish. Our round didn’t end there. We critique our round with some trash talking, some drinks and some nice burgers.

Beautiful course with mountains offering a great backdrop. The course is in excellent overall condition and plays to a 71 par. There are a couple of wide open holes, letting you really go after it, but there are also several that are pretty tight requiring a little more finesse. The elevation varies on many holes - some where the tee boxes are elevated and some where the greens are 15-20' above the fairways. Greens fees were around $50 with cart per person and they do offer online reservations on their website. There is a service fee however.
